Hello

If I said I'd lost my way

Would you sympathize?
Could you sympathize?
I'm jumbled up
Maybe I'm losing my touch
I'm jumbled up
Maybe I'm losing my touch
But you know I didn't have it anyway
Won't you come on down to my?
Won't you come on down to my rescue?

Things are wrong
Things are going wrong
Can you tell that in a song?
I don't know what I want anymore
First I want a kiss and then I want it all
Won't you come on down to my?
Won't you come on down to my rescue
Rescue, rescue
C'omon and rescue me
Is this the blues I'm singing?

Is this the blues I'm singing?
Is this the blues I'm singing?
Is this the blues I'm singing?
Is this the blues I'm singing?

Is this the blues I'm singing?
Is this the blues I'm singing?
Is this the blues I'm singing?

My intro to Echo and the Bunnymen was the album Heaven Up Here. I didn’t hear anything from Crocodiles until later, probably after Porcupine. Very different.
It’d be nice to hear some of the jangly, heavy tunes off HUH here on RP.

Whole heartedly agree!
Amen - some prime Echo & The Bunnymen on RP - wonderful!

There are so many fantastic tracks from their first 3 LPs. I'm most partial to Heaven Up Here (their very best IMHO).
Love it! Hints of "The Cutter" and the like after! I endlessly dig their wild, angsty vocals, and the bass really ROCKS in this one! More early Echo!
Thank you RP for coming up with a line of very healing, beautiful, powerful songs this morning in germany. Now I am powerful, too, and rescued! Long live music and International solidarity, folks!
