I’ll pack the food if you pack the clothes
Gonna drive up into the mountain
‘Til we’re lost
Shit caffeine and a thing to boil water
Market’s closed so we’re havin’ wine for dinner

I will find somewhere
That makes me happier than here

I almost forgot the psychedelics on my dresser
You know I love gettin’ scared in the woods
Last time I swear I saw my own body decomposin’
And I felt so alone
But I don’t wanna go home

I will find somewhere
That makes me happier than there

I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me happy
I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me right

My baby got a twist like you’ve never seen
Shakin’ her ass in the grass, she’s a dancing queen
Swimmin’ in the river, smokin’ bud on the bushes
Makin’ out underwater like a couple of fishes
And I don’t wanna go because I know the conditions
No, I don’t wanna go home
I don’t wanna go home

I will find somewhere
That makes me happier than there

I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me happy
I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me right

Both your eyes are closed (Nah, man I’m lookin’)
But you’re missing your phone (Nah, man I’m lookin’)
Are your feet gettin’ cold? (Nah, man I’m lookin’)
Just lookin’ for somewhere to go (Ow)

I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me happy
I’ll keep on searchin’ for the place that makes me right

This has a real late Replacements/Westerberg vibe.  I dig it.
Like the guitar. A little bit like The Strokes sound.

Really, though?
My first reaction when this song came up was imagining these guys sitting around trying to come up with a good band name. "Hey, how 'bout The Moss?" and the other guys, "Yeah, that's it!"

Assigning this rating is more than a tad subjective. On further review, I am not sure I would’ve assigned a plus one for this particular name. I can totally imagine your scenario playing out, lol!
Not exactly breaking new ground but instantly likeable.
I get a real Kinks vibe from this one. Love it.
This song grows on me a little more every time I hear it. It's such a positive vibe, please keep it in the rotation.
Makes me grin, makes me happy. Solid 8

I like it; it's catchy, has a driving, uplifting beat...kinda Lumineers meetsThe Head and the Heart. I appreciate how RP keeps feeding us new tunes to help keep our minds and horizons growing bigger and brighter ~ dig!

huh - just followed this with Cleopatra...upbeat certainly describes this tune but I thought of Robyn Hitchcock for some reason

I gave this a seven the first time I heard it but having now properly listened to the lyrics it's an eight for me.
Happy little thing. I like!
I like it.  Keep the new stuff coming.

Haven't heard David Graham and the Eskimo Brothers yet.  They are a Nashville Honkytonk band, who just completed their second tour of UK.  Saw them last month at the historic Half Moon Pub in Putney.  Their name is a hoot.  Look up the term.  Not sure who is fucking who, but they are very entertaining to watch. Ben Waters, noted keyboard session musician joined the tour.

People Come and People Go.
Some love you quick
Others kill you slow.

Hey, CJ! I concur with your post! Whaddya think... They could get attendees pretty lit, doing a gig at Red Rocks? I'd really like to catch a good band show there one day! Seems like it couldn't be any better in a man-built venue! Saw a couple vids of shows there on YouTube! Such a cool looking, "natural" venue! Be good, CJ!

Really liking this! Has a good upbeat tempo and, I like the "storyline" of the lyrics! Pretty cool! I bet it was a bit of a "culture shock", going from the beautiful state of Hawaii, to Salt Lake City, UT!! Hope to hear another song or 2 from them! Still rated it an 8, first hear! Will likely go ^ +1 after another listen! Thnx, Bill & crew!

new addition to the rock mix! first listen for me today 11/15. reminds me a little bit of J Roddy Walston & The Business (which would be great on RP). i dig it. going to wait to rate until i hear it again.

Thanks for the new addition to the rock mix!
