Seems so good to see you back again
How long has it been?
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems like a mighty long time
Oh, my, my, my, I'm so glad
That you stopped by to say hello to me
Remember that's the way it used to be
Seems like a mighty long time
Seems like a mighty long time
Oh, I, if you're not gonna stay
Please don't treat me like you did before
Because I still you love so
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Oh, my, my, my, my, my, my
Oh, it seems so, seems so good to have you back again
Oh, how long, how long has it been?
Oh, you know, you know it seems so good, baby
How long has it been?
Oh, seems like a mighty long time
Yes, it does
Seems like a mighty long time
Another cover band. Lacks originality
This comment speaks to your total lack of understanding of how the Blues work. Come back when you've spent more time listening and less time being pseudo clever.
Another cover band. Lacks originality
I think I may need to start calling people out on criticizing covers because they're "not original". The idea that any cover of a song is inherently inferior to the original is just bizarre, and, y'know, wrong.
Or I could just let y'all be wrong :-). It's not like I'm immune to that, lol.
Another cover band. Lacks originality
Unlike your band, amirite? Do you have a link to something original you've done?
My latest crush - move over Norah Jones... Simply a great cover!
Very nice cover.
Nice revival of an old favorite.....
Such a great song. Iโd much prefer to hear the original.
I LOVE BOTH versions!!
Barbara Lewis was amazing. this is a bit pale but nice tribute
The bass line on this song is a killer, it sets a strong groove that everything else hangs off of. With the trumpets and the twangy guitar, I'm reminded of some Mowtown songs and that general era of music.

I Agree completely!
This is a Mary wells song, slightly revised. Nice tho. Credit where credit is due. OK? ๐
Wrong! Are you NOT capable of using GOOGLE?

WRONG! Originally done by Barbara Lewis. Google it! It was written by Barbara Lewis, and released by her in 1963, and became a big hit!
maybe because she is also playing the guitar. There's a syncing there.
No Barbara Lewis.
Mary Wells
I will have the exquisite pleasure of seeing Samantha playing live tonight opening for and playing with the legendary Buddy Guy on his Damned Right Farewell tour at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA. Buddy is last man standing on the South Side legends slate. Don't get no better.
Lived in Vienna for over 20 years and loved Wolf Trap. Quite a venue to go and see live shows.
Want a decent cover version? Listen to Yvonne Elliman's version!
Funny, maybe a photoshop edit problem? Here's a pic of her feet and they look fine to me. I'm still at an 8 on this one....call it an 8.5 with a possible round up one day.

I think she can just do something with that foot that most humans can't do.

My eyes must be deceiving me. What is wrong with her foot?

Very Jamerson bass line!
I was thinking Winehouse
Seems mighty long. I struggled but could not find anything that appealed. Rare for me.
I rarely find fault with the music played here... And yet this is one that I felt went too long as well. Great vocals and really good groove. The song however is dated.
Discovered a new great artist, it's long between theese days.
Googling around, plays different music styles, check out e.g Bulletproof
& I'll Be Here In The Morning
Aaaand, see that she's going to a have a concert next spring nearby, I'm buying tickets!
Great!
The '63 Barbara Lewis original still breaks my heart. Samantha's cover is really good and most welcome.
A touch of Amy Winehouse in her voice and delivery. I like.
Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!
But can it advance the spark divine inspiration?
Remembered the original tune, but not the title.
So nice to hear something from someone her age, that isn't pop! She's got really good voice/control. Very nice on the eyes AND the ears!
Yup! Enough so for an 8 rate on initial hearing. Great add, *William*!!

Ignore him, he has barely anything good to say about anytrack.
