It's always summer in this Southern state
Where I'm behind the moon floating in space
But I'm not in hiding, just trying not to be found
So when I hear my name I never turn around

Here in the valley they live in their cars
As they dream of fields under ocean of stars
And I'm disappearing into that grid
Where I'll live out in the open but perfectly hid

It's always summer in this Southern state
And it's a comfortable life in a beautiful place
But something's ratting somewhere inside
And it sounds like it's broken but in a place I can't find

And it only gets louder with time

okay universe why is this not an 8?
Reminds me of David Lindley.  Pretty cool stuff!

I finally made up my mind. 6 to 7.
This sounds like he looks, whatever that means.
Just more fun than DCFC.
he just seems so wonderfully quirky. i want to hang out with him.
kind of sounds like  Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
I don't quite know what to make of this song
sounds like jimmie dale gilmore, the flatlanders

also a cameo role in the big lebowski...the bowling alley scene
From the other room the first name that came to mind was Ed Ames of the Ames Brothers. Even the cowboy horns in the background reminded me of that era of pop music!

Yes, I'm old. So what?

Say, how about some Marty Robbins?

Welcome to the Radio Paradox.
This chicken-trumpet (is it one?) is so enjoyable!
Interesting...I can't make up my mind about it.
The album cover reminds me of a Cure album cover.  The remixes?
Wow I dig the heck out of this.
Unexpected and enjoyable variety from Mr. Gibbard

Most likely thanks to BillG spending some studio time getting some new tunes to the mix, and even dusting off some tunes to re-add to the mix, which is great news to my ears.

I wonder Ben came up with this while he and Zooey were getting divorced in 2012?  LLRP

And some Calexico thrown in here too.

Not at all what I would expect from Ben.

Deathcab for Cutie meets Roy Orbison?
I knew that voice was familiar...did a double take
I like DCFC, and his voice, and this is a nice enough ditty... but... idk, a little surprised it made the cut on RP.
Wow, first time played today? 👍
