My call in the silence
Small town's winter
Your child is falling, asking for more than you
Your sides hear longer na na na yeah
Your time it passed the urges on earth on earth
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
And after dawn
Start to see the shadows
Oh oh oh oh
In my doors
Swinging from the gallows
Oh oh oh oh
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
Lag beyond
And it's been called
Despite my heating lantern
Oh oh oh oh
And I've been called
Wait to fool the phantom
Oh oh oh oh

Beirut and INXS? Comparison like Bach and Frank Zappa.

I don't like INXS but I like this.

Long overdue!  Finally.  :-)

first listen… soaking in a hot tub with a cold beer… after a very long day. - magnificent The sublime vocals and solid instrumentation surrounding me with sincerity… loved discovering this one. “Oh oh oh oh And I've been called Wait to fool the phantom…” The oh, oh, oh’s are certainly sung like they’re meant to be sung!
I watched them live in 2010 at the Haldern Pop Festival in Germany. It was a fantastic sound and show. This new one sounds pretty good. I give a 7 at first listen. Maybe more in the future.
That accordion/melodica figure is all over the place beat-wise.
Beirut or Decemberists.  I always have a 50% change of guessing a new track right.

That sounds like a lyric written by Mr Garvey...

Wow, I know RP is often on the bleeding edge of tech, but it is 2022-01-18, and this song is shown as being released on 2022-01-28.  I am listening to the music of the future!  If only the Durham Bulls were in town, I could run down to the stadium and get some Dippin Dots ("The Ice Cream of the Future") to pair with this song.
Great! I never heard of them before. Thanks RP!

I was first introduced to this band watching BalletX performance, where some acts used their music. Then I took interest in them and heard some really great songs. Worth looking up.

I could recommend "The elephant gun", "Sunday smile" and "Nantes", as a start on YouTube.

Elephant gun
The accordion reminds me of Penguin Cafe Orchestra, which I'm a big fan of
wow pre-release copy based on the released date of 2022.

always keeping it current...LLRP
It cant be released in 2022, can it?
Interesting blend of genres.
I just heard this on another provider (sorry it was one of those runs on RP...I had to flip)...and I was instantly interested.  Had designs on uploading it for Bill...and voila...he beat me to it once again.  Bill, how are you so darn good?
First 😀
