Now here you go again
You say you want your freedom
Well, who am I to keep you down?
It's only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness

Like a heartbeat.. drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost

Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say... Women... they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean... you'll know, you'll know

Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me
Who wants to wrap around your dreams and...
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness...

Like a heartbeat... drives you mad...
In the stillness of remembering what you had...
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost

Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say... Women... they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean... you'll know, you'll know

I've got four different pressings of this vinyl, they all sound subtly different.  Hearing Stevie's voice multi-tracked on a killer HiFi is enough to make you weak in the knees

For some reason I have about 10 copies of this album on vinyl.  My favorite is a specially pressed Ken Perry mastered copy that was from the original pressing run put out to celebrate the winning of the Grammy.  Brand new stampers and heavier than normal vinyl was used for this one.

Cheers !
I'm really digging the theme today. This song feels right to me!
Well, this dude got his 15 minutes of fame, thanks to this song.

Well worth listening to an analysis of this song ( and The Chain)

Made me appreciate the later stuff  (though I'm a bigger fan of the middle era of FM).
Maravilloso!
Flashback to happy times.  Lately I find myself playing only their early stuff with Peter Green.

That is just plain sad.  Not that the dress wouldn't have been memorable (I'm sure it was impressive) but, rather, that you saw 2 of the greatest performers in rock history and THAT was your sole take away.  Sounds like a wasted ticket and not a cheap one at that.
Love these cats.  Timeless!
Flawless.
Iconic 70's album, so excellent !

In her prime, she was certainly a "knee-weakener"!

Ha, the Onion. But the truth is that Rumors won the Grammy in '78 against some really REALLY steep competition... Aja, JT, Hotel California and Williams soundtrack to Stars Wars were also nominated that year. Yowza

I beg to differ. Two totally different bands with the same name. However, both were equally brilliant.

I was skeptical to see Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham but the show last week was amazing. The additions of Tom Petty's Mick Campbell and the vocals of Neil Finn along with an additional guitarist, keyboards and 2 back up singers made this a really fun evening.  They still got it.
In Los Angeles, on Valentine's Day 2019, can't see across the street for the rain; Stevie sings "thunder only happens when it's raining", and the sky rumbles ominously. I don't know what kind of magic you're working, Bill... but keep it up.

Bla bla bla
Killer tune, ACAB 1312
Never get tired of listening to this. Sheer magical quality and those vocals are to due for.

Overplayed?  Who cares?!!?  This is a 10, not only for the song and it's place in my life, heck almost more so because this track SOUNDs awesome!   I've used this (and the Theme from Shaft) to tune my systems' high-end....so yeah....long live RP!!

Fleetwood...Great, Greater...Greatest
For me  7 -> 8 - Most Excellent

Amen.  Somebody -- She Who Must Not Be Named -- ruined the band and excused it by making them all rich.
I saw her tour with Joe Walsh. The only thing I remember was her see through dress.
A Bear's short list of songs I've heard at least 10,000 times and am sick to death of:
1-  A Horse With No Name2-  Hotel California3-  Dreams
Ear Torture

Growing up on early Fleetwood Mac reveals later work to be as insipid as it is.
Thank you for playing this. :)
Fleetwood Mac's music was like no one else's
they did not follow anyone else's style
their songs even differed from their own other songs

I was a member of that club too, as I imagine many were.
The first album I ever hated in my bones.

*Rumors one of the greatest albums ever made ! in my opinion.

On my suggestion actually, I noticed that it was missing and just submitted it yesterday. Excellent Music makes excellent radio.

I was wondering at that myself, but apparently this is the first time this has been played on RP, which is kind of mind boggling.
