Oh, there's a river that winds on forever
I'm gonna see where it leads
Oh, there's a mountain that no man has mounted
I'm gonna stand on the peak

Out there's a land that time don't command
Wanna be the first to arrive
No time for ponderin' why I'm a-wanderin'
Nowhere the buses lay

To the ends of the earth would you follow me?
There's a world that was meant for our eyes to see
To the ends of the earth would you follow me?
If you will have a say my goodbyes to me

Oh, there's an island where all things are silent
I'm gonna whistle a tune
Oh, there's a desert that size can't be measured
I'm gonna count all the dunes

Out there's a world that calls for me, girl
Headin' out into the unknown
Wayfarin' strangers and all kinds of danger
Please don't say I'm going alone

To the ends of the earth would you follow me?
There's a world that was meant for our eyes to see
To the ends of the earth would you follow me?
Well if you want, I will say my goodbyes to me

I was a-ready to die for you, baby
Doesn't mean I'm ready to stay
What good is livin' a life you've been given
If all you do is stand in one place

I'm on a river that winds on forever
Follow 'til I get where I'm goin'
Maybe I'm headin' to die but I'm still gonna try
I guess I'm goin' alone)

Smooth transition from Fleet Foxes... I didn't even notice until I looked for the words and realized I'd been segued.
This rules.
garbage
Great sound, this group! I appreciate it even better, coming after Nilsson's classic, "Everybody's Talkin'." Way to flow, RP circuit!
Interestingly this song was covered by Kenny Chesney for his album Songs for the Saints, created to provide relief for Hurricane Irma victims.  Check it out if you like this song to see another interpretation.

Proposed to my fiancee in Ushuaia, Argentina to this song....such a great tune...too bad I missed them recently in concert...

Ushuaia - one of the "ends of the Earth" on two counts I can think of:

1. Southernmost city in the world (yeah, yeah, I know about Puerto Williams - not a city)
2. Chronological endpoint of human expansion across the globe (final continental landmass to be reached)
Nice.  Easily recognisable style and chord structures, but beautifully different in tone and feeling.
I like this band's album covers.

Ushuaia. One of my favourite places on the planet! Great place to propose. Good tune too.

It worked out too!, She said yes...The entire plan actually was hatched around hearing this song on RP. We hadn't settled on a vacation spot, but Ushuaia was in the running. Heard this song, got inspired, and the rest of it came together!
{#Bananasplit} just saw them sat night in seattle at the capitol hill block party ! outstanding

It is an occasionally apathetic style of singing to me, but I don't find it sleep-inducing. The instrumentation and production are quite cool.

good with headphones blow your mind away
very nice!
maybe that lonesome rider on the album cover is reading Ed Abbey's "Desert Solitaire" as his steady mare sifts along the dunes

life changing read imo
i heard this song on shameless finale, its a good song i think.
I first heard these guys last night on the soundtrack to "A Walk In the Woods." Nice sound!
the wonderful thing about this radio station is that often and I mean often you hear a track and think yeah like this and off I go and buy the album, really good sound this, loved it
as good as this is do ck out the nu release strange trails ! / bill if your reading this would love some of the new cd !
Saw them live, too, and they put on a great, great show.  Unique style and strong songwriting.
Saw these guys at the XPN summer fest in Philly / Camden this year.  Had never heard them before, but either liked or loved every song they did.  A great find!!
Nice sound! quite cool start up song for this chilly Wednesday
National, with a Santa Fe flavor, and less echoplex
I enjoyed their songs that were in the soundtrack of A Walk in the Woods.
from the first album very good if u like ck out the new release strange trails !!!
First listen, this is good.

I just caught an echo of Mike Reno;(heard he lost 50 pounds and plans a comeback). Please not with that headband thang.
Oh, this piece? Not bad, not bad.

The more I hear this album, the more I like it.  This cut, 'Time to Run,' 'She Lit a Fire.'  Strong work.

There is also the earlier Into The Sun EP that is worth a listen.

Love the drumming and guitar in the instrumental sections—somehow they sound rather Turkish. The guys, however, have a mid-western twang, I think. Bought this song while listening to it here for the first time.

Saw them open for Rodrigo y Gabriella at the Hollywood Bowl in 2013.. not bad! Glad to see them here
Not my taste!
Reminds me of a soundtrack to some yet to air tv commercial for a pickup truck.

But I like it.

...really, no comments yet?..

...this is a nice one; i totally thought it was fleet foxes...
