Set me free and watch me fall
Lose the feeling of it all
I wish the night would let me in
Back here knocking on the door again

[Chorus:]
If I ever wake up
At the right time
If I ever wake up
I'll find a way to change your mind

I dreamed we fell into the night
Your darkness shined the brightest light
We drove for miles on the moon
I'd go anywhere with you

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

I know I've said it before (a long time ago) but I still want to say  how proud I am she is from my town down here in the Texas Hill Country........Wimberley, TX.....a haven for artists.      She graduated from WImberley High in 2009 (with my eldest son) and about 100 others....small town!    She sang at graduation!  She was already recording back then (Girl up in My Head) and up for a grammy that year.  So, just some info for you people out there that may not get that info anywhere else!

Love Wimberly!
Brilliantly crafted track - class, attitude, humility, a gift that keeps giving

This woman is a genius songwriter singer musician. She plays with Chris Thile and many other GREAT modern musicians. Buy her stuff --you won't be sorry !!!  The I'm With Her Albums are well worth it as well .   https://imwithherband.com/

Talented and Sincere (and attractive : )
I am crazy about every song I've heard from Sarah Jarosz...very inventive
Magnificent.  Liking everything I've heard from her... The flashes of Jesse Sykes' style guitar and mesmerizing structure really get me!
This is lovely.  Thanks RP.
I hear a little Dar Williams in some of her lower notes.

Weird. I hear a faint DSOTM vibe.
Really nice work from someone who appears to believe what she sings.
thanx 4 the indroduction Bill to Ms Jarosz
i think i need need to find out more about her
Pleasantly nice! {#Cheers}
Went to a concert to see someone else, and Sarah opened. She played a cover of Ring Them Bells that made me tear up.

The album itself has a different Dylan cover: Simple Twist of Fate.

yes and also yes. I couldn't put my finger on it... I'm hearing that too
i like it—-maybe a little over-produced.

Nice.  Finally, another female singer without bizarre, trendy affectation or one-trick pony vocal calisthenics.

yes
great in concert—heard Sarah a few years ago at Merlefest (was Doc's memorial to son Merle)
Nice.  Finally, another female singer without bizarre, trendy affectation or one-trick pony vocal calisthenics.
Talented beyond her years.

It does sound somewhat similar in parts of the melody and phrasing, but the chord progression is entirely different.  It's cool how a similar melody line can sometimes fit over two very differently structured songs, though I'm not sure if it was conscious of it or if she's even aware of that Chicago song - she is quite young..  Nice tune.
This is excellent!

Exactly what I thought too. Good song but definitely the ghost of Chicago in there. Not that that is a bad thing.

Definitely agree that some of the song fits that bill, perhaps not all though. This is quite good.

"I’ll find a way to change your mind"

That line made me check out who this was. Liking it, very nice. 7.
