Bye bye Manchester

(translation from lyricstranslate.com)

I no longer know
the hours, the days nor even the road.
Shipwrecked on the frontseat,
how many obstacles.

I drown my nights in a bottle of whiskey.
My life no longer makes sense my life
held in the glovebox.

But from time to time
I look back, I think of us.
I'm nostalgic and suddenly I forget.
The ocean awaits me at every turn.

Leaving for the grand tour.
I will will not be coming back.
I leave everything, I leave you behind me
Bye bye Manchester

Completely I am going, I charge ahead, straight ahead
My heart zig-zags, no longer held in place
I roll toward the sea

But from time to time
I look back, I think of us.
I'm nostalgic and suddenly I forget.
The ocean awaits me at every turn.

I'm nostalgic and suddenly I forget.
The ocean awaits me at every turn.
I'm nostalgic and suddenly I forget.
Bye Bye Manchester

Not worthy of this venerable station! (Don't try to detect any irony:)
I agree with CoYoT51, being frenchspeaking, and loving most of the music of Radio Paradise, this one is far to be the best of French songs.
And to be frank, I'm just also far to be a fan of french music in general.

Not a bad song, but can you program the non-English songs once or twice an hour? I just heard this after a Spanish language song... Viva variety please!

There goes the chauvanistic closed minded english speaking only buthead comment again...
AU SECOOOOOURS !!!  {#Frustrated}
Maybe if I was in a different mood, but not now-meh
I thought this was Regina Spektor! Nice voice.

Singing French hotties always welcome!

Wait a minute; do you want more English-language songs or do you want more "variety"?  Your use of the Latin-based word "viva" makes it hard to tell.

  I concur! Viva variety! Please less non-English songs! More Spanish/Chinese/German/French/Italian/Russian/Klingon/Portuguese/Swahili/... songs! {#Nyah}

meh, wouldn't mind not hearing this one ever again :P

A "7" for the cover alone.
Ha, them ratings all over the place..
Being a Mancunian but moved a few hundred miles south, I really like this! Reminds me a bit of A Monster in Paris, which your 4-10yo kids will LOVE :-)
