I used to walk on the city streets
Now I wander far and wide
And I never found my happiness
Until I moved to the country-side
Now follow me for a quiet day
Out riding on the trails
Waitin Smog, Traffic Bomb
Where all the pigs have tails

I'm in shady grove
Shady Grove my Honey
Shady grove my true love
I'm bound for Shady Grove

If you've been watching the city streets
Can't seem to get much greener
Then I know where we're going to
Our heads will feel much cleaner

It's Shady Grove my true love
Shady Gove my Honey
Shady Grove my true love
I'm bound for Shady Grove

It's easy to know who you are
When you're living with the trees
Out in Shady Grove
Shady Grove, where it's always clean

Yuck.
This is without question the WORST version of this song that I know of!

Oh god, why? This song is fantastic... When actually performed, rather than butchered.

Yes, been covered countless times.  QSM did a quite a good rendition.
way cool, though it does have a fun vibe, kinda sounded like The Cramps!  ribbit ribbit
That shimmering Cippolina guitar called to me from across the room. The live version is considerably better, but this is cool enough.
This song brings back memories of high-school to me. Not as popular as some bands, but it did evoke that hippie mentality I think.
Wow, what a great song from the past! Can't believe this has never been played here before.
