These days are mine,
just one smile taking up all my time.

Isn't it rich,
the future just keep on going,
corners are blind,
you can't see where you're running.

Put on the light,
and turn the night back into day,
put on the light,
well what is gone and what remains.

The great and the good,
the restless of heart and lonely,
the misunderstood,
the twisted, the mad, the holy.

Put on the light,
and turn the night back into day,
put on the light,
well what is gone and what remains.

These days are mine,
just one smile taking up all my time.
White lines, road signs,
just one smile taking up all my time.

I'm in for 9! Long live Kloot!
Good Tune! I never heard of them before. Thanx RP
Love this song.. except for the beeping that sounds like a trash truck backing up. It's on the live version as well.
The origin of the band name was shrouded in secrecy for the majority of
the band's existence, with Bramwell stating in 2013 that the band "never
said and we never will" confirm the origin of the name and joked that
"If I told you, I'd have to kill you". Jobson later claimed that the
name I Am Kloot was inspired by the Alan J. Pakula film Klute, and also that "I Am Kloot is a left handed card game made famous in the diaries of Jerome K. Jerome" – the rules of which are expounded in Jerome’s Three Men on the Bummel And here I thought it was a reference to Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy

I agree, every time I hear IAK I check to see if it's RH.

Also, I don't think you can double downgrade. I've tried that with Alt J's Tessellate. I'm always disappointed when I got to sucko barfo it and I've already sucko barfoed it. Maybe we need more options, like a triple sucko barfo.

Many. many thanks to I Am Kloot for this song . I wish you very well.
Sounds a bit like Echo and the Bunnymen
Nice and trippy. :)
Really like this song.  Reminds of "Big Wedge" from Fish's Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors.  Kind of obscure, but very similar and cool.
Stops.Me.Every.Time.
There's a whole verse missing from the Lyrics link.  I Googled deep for more lyrics, but I could only find the standard set.  Best as I can tell, the verse goes something like this:

These days are gold,
Hung out and strung with laughter.
To have and to hold,
You can't see what you're after.

Anyone hear it differently?  Anyone got hard data, like from a CD, which might have the full lyrics?

p.s. Love this song.  Solid 9.

Oops, l wasn't the only one who thought this might've been Robyn Hitchcock. Live and learn.

I agree being a big Oasis and IAK fan, they are nothing like each other

Did you really think they would somehow have taken the "beep" out of the mix on this tune since the last time you complained about it two years ago?  It would be cool if such a thing were possible - maybe someday.

You're stalking Stefen again. Let's concentrate on getting the beep nixed. Focus.

There may be a "beep-removing" app out there somewhere.
I like this much better than their other songs I've heard here; what strikes me about this is the Middle-Eastern strings with British vocals

The best of British, Manchester's finest. Check out all their albums, you wont be disappointed.
Most excellent. Gets my head shakin'.

Nice music for a cold night in Vermont

Just another great band out of Manchester, lets hear another from this album.

I didn't think I liked these guys. Thanks for changing my mind.

However, as far as I can tell Oasis is pretty poor stuff. This is a pretty severe put down of this band. I find them considerably better than Oasis, where the proffered water in the desert is not really palatable, but may look appealing under duress.
Just smile ! These Grays are mine.

What?
I keep hearing the violin section of this song at random times, like something I can't get out of my head. This being said, I really like the song.
This release, which I've coveted since I first heard it, appears to be unavailable either as digital download or in hard copy on the colonies' side of the Atlantic.  Anyone know otherwise?
sorry, i have to do it...

Same style. Thought the same although it clearly wasn't him.
Stunning transition just from Alt-J Tesselate.  I couldn't tell at all, when one had ended and the other started.  Brilliant!

Listen to the ''Low'' pich sound great bass , I cant hear the high one so wherever it is its doing a grand job of blending in to the whole.

Kula Shakur does this stuff better. Somehow this piece is not getting it completely right, or so I hear it.

Me too! Also like the slightly synchopated drumbeat. Strings add nicely, but the trumpet takes it to an odd retro feel.

Groovy, man.

Everybody in my church loves this song...

This song is good for the ears...

One man's "British Invasion Sound" is another man's "Sound" and a good one at that.
Oh boy. This band made a real masterpiece for the movie Sunshine - Avenue of Hope
