There is NOT ONE country in the world which has NOT committed horrible crimes against humanity.

For centuries many many countries have exploitet humans in the slavetrade, killed them in wars, committed genozide AND in many courntires THIS IS STILL HAPPENING!

If one does sit in a glasshouse, one should not throw stones!

Take a good look at your own history in EVERY country the listeners here belong to, there have crimes being committed in the past and nowadays.

So, hush everyone - if you want to call another human a killer -  look in the mirror first!

Geesh! Just enjoy the music and STFU! All of these comments are kinda inarticulate AND not at all germane......Peace
Sounds like ..... GREAT TUNE!!   Why compare it to anybody else. I had never heard of them before. That is why we come here.  Thanx RP!

Are you talking about the United States? Think about it.A county built with European thiefs and killers , and governance from money, guns and scare, and dangerous people like nixon, bush or trump as presidents, and all of you proud of that. Please, americans must stop talk crap about other civilizations. First look at your home.

Umm you forgot to mention Lyndon Johnson, Clinton, Obama, etc.  They sure loved them some war too.  And the dementia patient in chief is about to kickoff the next one.
As a Turkish guy, living in the UK and hearing this song here. If only they didn't corrupt my country this much and I could have enjoyed more of my culture in my own country. Nevertheless, nice to hear.
Good Tune!
Getting the Dream Theater vibe. Love it!
musiche melodie molto interessanti ....balcaneggianti

Sounds like you could be talking about Russia, and esp. USSR, actually. Just ask us, who lived under the influence of that great union of republics for 40 years before it collapsed into democracy only to try and corrupt it there and again everywhere else.

Clean up your own house before you tell others to do the same while admonishing Americans for their country while you enjoy the music on (American) RP.
Since 1993 four young musicians occasionally played together in a variety of activities in Çanakkale where the wind never stop to blow. In 1995, the band took the name of İHTİYAÇ MOLASI and began to play their own music in Istanbul and soon they became one of the favorite groups of Istanbul.

Not on your planet? Which earth are you in?
We won't learn Democracy from counties has lower than 60% voting rates.
That cover art reflects the spectrum of dealing with home confinement, it would seem.
Interesting music by an obscure band, I like it
Absolutely love incongruent instruments, techniques and styles!

Yes, unfortunately they are..  Their violinist is my friend actually and hearing this song on RP reminded me of a very beautiful memory out of the blue:

He and some other quite good musicians were jamming on a volcanic beach in Imvros (tr: Gökçeada, an originally greek, now turkified island in the north Aegean) while the sun was setting and we were just dancing and hanging around in a bliss. Thank you RP for resurfacing this!

p.s: Turkey (and around) is home to many many exquisite musicians such as 'İhtiyaç Molası' for ages now and never-ending political / religious turmoil surrounding this geography seems to fuel this need for good music.
Mushing I agree there is a lot of fine music in the Middle East

Calling yourself a republic doesn't make a country a democracy. The Soviet Union was a "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics". At any rate, democracy is an absolute to be striven for, and no country is quite there yet, regardless of what it calls itself. End of political rant.

Perhaps you are right, ignorance is universal.
And so is the desire to have good music, unless you are:- ohhhh, the list is endless.

Cover art timeline kickstarts with Anno Domini.
A Spiterman spun and  I guess Adam  still delves. A-political stance? otherwise B.C would suffice.

Turkey is not the "one and only democracy in the Muslim world". Perhaps you meant "Arab world" where many of the countries are dictatorships or monarchies. But even that is no where near accurate. Iraq is now a republic. Iran is a republic (though it's a weird one). Afghanistan, Pakistan and the rest of the "...stans" are Islamic republics. North Africa is Arabic/Islamic; and Egypt, Libya, Algeria, and Morocco are all republics. The biggest Islamic nation by population is a democracy: Indonesia has about 220,000,000 Muslims.

Hold the music! Let me put my Prince Of Persia attire {#Drool}
Before I looked at the name of the artist, I played a stretch-the-brain game and tried to deduce it by just listening to the music and cross referencing.  Of course, I quickly ran out of candidates. Not American, not western, never heard anyone with that sound style. I could sit here all month and not pull out this one.  Another first hearing on RP.

Should be heading to bed, but you just keep playing awesome music, like this. Sleep can wait, there's music to be danced to.

In punk yoga be doubled!  We be dancing!  This is groovy...

My thoughts exactly :))

Ooh, liking this. Can't believe the average rating is as low as it is. {#Eh}
Wow, this is cool... Digging on the tight rhythm section, and the rest of it as well..

Oh yes indeedy.
1999? That explains a lot. A lot of that sort of western/exotic fusiony neo-metal/disco thing. 5.
Another Turkish delight.
yeah, this is pretty good.
What is this??  I love it!!
Dig the album art!
Nice.
