So afraid of rejection
Hide inside ourselves
Acting like strangers to avoid the pain
We collect our phobias
Our sicknesses
Feel so good only when we can complain

In your arms
Feels like a better us
In your arms

In your arms
Feels like a better us

Dancing around the fire
Getting drunk with the night
Nobody is ever who they seem to be
Hypnos give us your hand
We so tire of this life
Need to rest and finally disappear

In your arms
Feels like a better us
In your arms

In your arms
Feels like a better us

In your arms
Feels like a better us
In your arms

In your arms
Feels like a better us

Interesting  song. Thank you RP for this.
Maynard, is this you?
Great band.  I have Love, Fear and the Time Machine on regular rotation.
Hearing Pucifer/Tool similarities for sure. :-)
Dreary. Wouldn't cross the street to see this band.
Come on BIll, just play Tool like you know you want to!
A very good Band with amazing concept albums
Beautiful

Hiya Deadwing!   Curious how no material from the ADHD album has been uploaded to RP.  Will definitely check it out.
Polish, eh?  Ya don't say......

My first thought was: woah, a new "A Perfect Circle" song? Very good!
Brilliant. Another one I'll buy because of RP. This time, I'll buy through here, so it benefits my favorite radio station, as well.
Sounds great. Reminds me of dredg (The_Pariah,_The_Parrot,_The_Delusion, 2009).
Gosh, this is good.  How come we have never heard of them over on this side of the pond?

Rapid Eye Movement*: Released: September 24, 2007

Anno Domini High Definition (June 19, 2009)

p.s. - *Curiosity: definition of  "rapid eye movement": a jerky motion of a person's eyes occurring in REM sleep.
"Sleep occurs in two states: sleep with rapid eye movement and sleep with no rapid eye movement ."

what does the monkey say?
Sounds like an asthmatic dog is barking in the background.
Also thought this was PT.  Going to have to add it to the rotation and give them a listen.  Another band I would never have heard of it it wasn't for RP!
świetnie!

Dunno why Bill rejected my attempts at uploading some of Mariusz Duda´s solo work (Lunatic Soul) when he plays this stuff?? Its equally as good!!
One of them went to LRC & scored 91%... Sometimes I do wonder at the selection choices...

I think he can be a bit elitist sometimes.
Gorgeous voice.
{#Dancingbanana_2} hypnotic
Gross.

Yep, sounds like PT but owes more than a little to KC.  Nice to see hortsman and deadwing {#Arrowd} around too.  {#Wave}

Deadwing, heard this band through Pandora and although alot of Pandora's combinations with Porcupine Tree drive me nuts, like Pink Floyd and Tool, Riverside really shined through. Got their whole discography from a friend and am slowly digesting it. They remind me of PT in so many ways but also of some of Opeth's material. Really, really like this band. Glad I discovered them a few weeks ago. Need a new band to keep me busy this summer.

I love this band more and more. Excellent musicianship and a really cool almost retro feel during some of their musical passages. ADHD was my personal album of the year in 09 (citation needed- I think it was 09   LOL). Hope you are doing well old friend!

/hugs
When someone starts groaning in my ear likes he wants to be dead. I tend to agree with him.

Bill you are hitting the mark today.

Riverside are one of my fav 'newish' Prog bands. All their albums are good in particular their latest Anno Domini. Go check 'em out.
ROFL. I'm starting to feel a tingle too.

Yep, quite likable for a first listen
Can't stand the ha-e-ha-ha breathing over this whole track. Like someone whispering in your ear the whole time.

Pretty good, but definitely trying to channel TOOL.  This is like TOOL light.  Bill, if your going to play this, as well as A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer, why not some TOOL as well?  Go straight to the source...

Great idea superjudge.  Why don't you upload some mp3 files of your favourite TOOL songs for consideration?  Look for the LRC/Upload tab.

I have only listened to a smattering of TOOL and so far have not been impressed with anything other than sheer technical ability but I would love to hear more.

I'm a big fan of Riverside.  I've heard the vast majority of their song catalog and so far I'm pleased with it.  Basically, if you like this song, you will like the majority of what they put out.

I think this tune is awesome, too...

Awesome after King Crimson's Epitaph! Keeping me in the zone...
I'm liking this a lot. Sensual, trancelike, beautiful...
Really like this- first time hearing them. Good segue from genesis, too.

Agreed - Intriguing song until they let the dog in the studio.

Are these the same guys?

"Waterfall"

"General Nature"

If so, I liked them better back in the nineties.

Pretty sure it's "In your arms, feels like butter rolls".

This song is dark, somber, depressing, and sad...   I love it!
New for me — thanks for the intro, think I'll have to check this whole album out.

Agreed. I don't want to get breathed upon like that.
Nice!

I think that's a rather engaging painting on the cover.  Oh, you were writing about the "panting".  {#Doh}  {#Propeller}

Yes, this is the Polish band on this song. Try out their album ADHD and tell me what you think. These guys are amazingly fun!

This song fucks with my head, and I mean that in a good way

Riverside from  Poland (prog rock) and the Riverside band that you have in your archives are 2 completely different entities. You have them grouped up together but they are separate bands with absolutely nothing in common.

Never thought I'd hear Riverside here!  HUGE fan of Riverside (yet for some reason I have not gotten any of their albums...  wtf is up with that?).

I'm going to have to get around to uploading some of the new Anathema.  Same type of music kinda.  Maybe it will make it past the LRC.
YAY!  Riverside!!  I've loved them from the beginning!  Their first disc, Out of Myself, is still my favorite!  Thank you for playing them :-D
Thank you for this wonderful surprise. {#Angel}

PT's The Incident and Riverside's Anno Domini High Definition (ADHD) came out at around the same time.
.
ADHD smoked it IMHO. The Incident is SO contrived and soulless
..
Love love love Riverside
Please oh please oh please play Driven to Destruction or Left Out from ADHD     (A girl can dream, can't she?)    {#Jump}

Interesting. I like it!

A touch of Rolf Harris as well with the background panting, I fear ;). For all that, it's a very interesting sound, and very RP. An initial 8 from the intrigued Nottingham jury.
