I thinks its sexy , mostly cuz it will never happen for me.

I love this version by French artist Mèlaaz which I first heard on Daddy G's (of Massive Attack) mix album for DJ-Kicks

Practically? I'm not aware that anyone (other than Puff Daddy or whatever he's calling himself these days) disputes that claim.

Are you reporting a microaggression snowflake?

Oh no! Were you triggered by their complaint?

Such sentences like "I'll do anything you say boy" do not really sit well with me! Good tune, but the lyrics are very out of date!

Peachy.  Following SuperHeavy to show them how it should be done.
Instantly, my mood is better as I envision listening to this while staring out at some crystal clear waters!

Yep..., it does!

Not quite as good as the original... may have to go and look it out..back soon!
Yes Yes Yes!!!!

So many different versions of this around... will see in a second if it has the great horn riff....
Not a bad song per se, but it sure killed the vibe coming out of Manic Depression and the hour or so before.

Nice!  I have some other songs by this group, really wondering if this was called Punta Reggae? When I came back from Jamaica in the early 80's and went to the record stores and looked for Raggae they said "Raggae? what's that" .. Thanks Bill for your efforts.

Ermmm...where were these stores? Kazakhstan? The Police released all their last studio album in '83...I remember reggae being pretty big in the US by '81...
Always a club favorite of mine from waaay back in the mid-90s. Thanks Bill!

Thanks for the tip - had to fiddle with the mix to hear it but, yeah, that bass player knows how to walk it.
Her voice is nice, but why are people yelling at each other in the background? Is she doing something to make them angry?

Maybe. This came first but they might've heard this. Thanks for the reminder to go see what Luscious Jackson's been up to.
