Tu sais bien, Sehnsucht bleibt the hope of lonesome nights

Jolie belle, liebst du mich, rien me gêne
Du kannst gehen, bleiben, sterben, but don't make me sad
Lautlos, lautlos
Lautlos, lautlos
Jolie belle, liebst du mich, rien me gêne
Du kannst gehen, bleiben, sterben, but don't make me sad

Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien
Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien

Jolie belle, liebst du mich, rien me gêne
Du kannst gehen, bleiben, sterben, but don't make me sad

Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien
Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien
Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien
Tu es beau, love, tu me fais du bien

Each time I hear this one, briefly, I think it's a Jamiroquai track, then the singing starts and I realize it's this track which I've rated an 8 and will stick with.  Long Live RP!!

Not sure if I've ever heard Jamiroquai here....
Better than most, but not as good as many.

Here the link to the Wiki Page.

But it's just in German.
Maybe rp can run it through Google Translate.

There quite some info on the page.

It's a band from Austria.
Funny stuff

I say LONG LIVE RP, thanks for playing lots of different types of music....and PEACE.

Oh yeah...I think this song is great and I rate it an 8.

So true. I am still surprised by some of Bill's musical choices. I am referring to those not easy to digest. It could take a few listens before I start to appreciate it or decide that it's not my taste and never will be. But it's always worthwhile to get to know these different flavors.

Are the lyrics a cross of German and French? Cool song either way.
This is dodgy, shifty maybe.
Fed the lyrics into Bing translate. Got

"Sorry, something went wrong. Try entering your text again"

Radio Paradise, to me, has always been about marrying the best of traditional modes of music that you can hear almost anywhere in the US with those music-knowledge-expanding gems that you won't hear anywhere else. This song, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Madrugada, Cesaria Evora, Django Reinhardt, and multiples of Finn Brothers tunes - these are just a few examples of why Radio Paradise is the best listening experience I've come across.

Put simply: I like to hear this song every so often, but I love the IDEA of this song on this station.

A nice silly song you heartily endorse when on holiday and/or drinking then later confess " well I guess you had to be there with the crowd.." :)

did have too many power bars or was that just really, really repetitive?
I like it.
I don't know that I'd be able to deal with an entire album of it, but it's a fun little ditty, and I do believe I've enjoyed some previous Deladap tunes.

Loving this..................but not sure I want to deal with whoever is waving that fan on the cover.
I like the music, rhythm and choice of instrument, the voice of the singer but I'm confused by the mix of French and German lyrics. I speak both but I can't understand the song because my brain keeps translating it ^^
I would say that overall I like the song, all the elements are matching :)

..memoriam..and agree with her..i have dreams with this soundtrack..and they're frequently not-good dreams..

Sorry, I find it quite inane, like Doop. Like a cocker spaniel. Like Flaubert's Salome as she athkth for the head of John the Baptitht. Like the wanton nudity in Up Pompeii. Like the portion sizes of nouvelle cuisine. Like adverts for children's vanilla puddings.

And just before the end I felt the urge to hit someone.

The power of song!

Some advice (take or leave).  If I have hesitation in my rating of the song, I picture myself seeing them live.  This song is a great example. :-D

Blimey how do you define heavy rotation? In the last 43200 minutes this has been played 4 times or somewhere around 0.05% of the time.
Listened to (or endured) commercial radio much?

wow, great depth!
I've got the fever and the only thing that will relieve it is more Jews Harp
This song needs more Jew's Harp!!

What is that, French AND German?
Usually I love this kind of music. it would have scored a lot higher for me if it didn't have the metallic ringing tablesaw noise. Sorry, just hurts my ears.
Es ist eine Kombination aus Französisch, Deutsch und Englisch. Sehr hübsch.
i like it.
Yep.  After some careful consideration, I like this.

Edit on March 21, 2013:  Yep, still do.  And thoroughly enjoy the fact that it's NOT ENGLISH.   Make up your own lyrics!
