Lifeline
(Gus MacGregor)

We put our oldest jeans on
And headed for the nearest dive
And ran through all the questions
That were playing on our minds
I could see you laughing
As you took a whiskey hit
Saying life is no rehearsal
Honey this is it

And I swear I heard the angels calling
And heaven send a lifeline down
Saying we'll wake you when you're falling
Just before you hit the ground

I could have looked at you forever
With that mischief in your eyes
I could have made the gods forgive me
For being a fool with you that night
If you gave me half a chance to
I would take you in the waves
I'd promise love just like the sunrise
Promises the day

And I swear I heard the angels calling
And heaven send a lifeline down
Saying we'll wake you when you're falling
Just before you hit the ground

Actually not bad,...not bad at all.  Good voice, nice, easy sound.

Nice. It's coffee house music though.

You know that that image will stay with me for the rest of the day? Bleuchh! Give me a good Wensleydale over a slimy Camembert any day of the week, lad:
