Love Patty Griffin (Flaming Red is a fantastic CD), loathe this song which is just saccharine lachrymose stereotypical C&W. Maybe that's the influence of the other guy.

Meh, pretty standard country-roots.  Probably rates a 5 or so for me. That album cover, however, is going to give me nightmares, I'm sure.
