The lyric "Hurricane do your worst" caught my attention.  Especially since Dorian just destroyed the Bahamas.  Hoping for a safe and speedy recovery to my neighbors to the east.

Do you mean double-tracking? If so, yes, he is. Common technique, especially for not-so-strong voices. Kurt Cobain and Elliot Smith used it a lot, as do The Shins, even Feddie Mercury wasn't averse. Or you mean that the vocalist from that band is in this one too, not sure about that!

Superb instrumention/production.  They sound just like this live too - highly recommended if they visit your area.  I've seen them twice now, and on both occasions, the quality of sound and performance was second-to-none.  If you like their music, it's a wonderful experience.

Calico (California) is also a "ghost town" park and tourist destination, midway between Las Vegas and Los Angeles, in the Calico Mountains, near Barstow. 
  Calico cats are almost always females because of that X chromosome, but you probably knew that.

It's one hell of a photo, right enough - must have been taken by one of those nutcase 'storm chasers' who chase tornados. Me, I'd have been sh1tting bricks with that thing bearing down on me.
