Yeah; the accordion sounds good; more coming from French influence than Polish though.

The French remained more time in Madagascar than the Poles. ;-)
Nice!
Quite beautiful.
What a beautiful sad song even though I didn't understand the words.

Bill from Seattle
From wiki:  Razia is an activist fighting illegal logging in Madagascar.
So, I lived in Madagascar from 2005 - 2007 and didn't care much for most of the music I heard here. Never heard this lady though, this is good stuff.

Is it just me, or does that accordion add nothing to what would be a really nice song?

It is just you. Sorry.

Quite likeable. First time I hear about this artist. Thanks a lot, Sir Bill!

Said it before:  NOTHING is overplayed on RP.  Sheesh.
Its Friday afternoon. Play some RnR!!!
Godgeous!
beautiful woman, important message , story, great accordion. 10 all the way{#Sunny}
Smokey and mysterious.  She can sing to me all day long in any language.

Opposite for me, 6 to 7

Sure. That's what I call a criterion.
Time for the hookah and a short black coffee.  Razia said..........

I'm one of the few people who actually can translate what she's saying.  She says, "I love you because you listen to Paradise Radio."
..need a leaf blower.
Yea, I dig this chick.
Mucho Gusto!
Bill said ".. from Madagascar .. "  and I started hoping King Julian would start singing.  This is nice too but I could use a little King Julian this morning.

...

Need a little more coffee.

You just blew by me - I'm on the same breeze.   I often think that it is a foreign language that makes me not like some of Bill's "world music", but this disproves that theory - I don't understand a single word of this, but loved it instantly.

I am SO sick of music in languages I don't understand!

Kidding. I'm sick of being so language-challenged that I barely master English.  This is a beautiful song - Ms. Said's voice is controlled, almost smug (with good reason) and, to quote romeotuma, "Sooo good for the ears."

I love this song - I love this artist.  And yes, the accordion (harpsicord?) adds a depth to the vocals that just makes it work perfectly.  Solid 9 for this one. And I'm hoping to hear more...{#Sunny}

Nice, look forward to hearing more, thought it was Maire Boine for a minute

I thought it was a translation of Can's 'Sing Swan Song'

Very enjoyable album
Actually a catchy tune.  I especially like the squeezebox.  Very complimentary.
Getting shivers… That doesn’t happen to me often.

Very, very nice!
Smooth. What language is she singing in, and what about? It's always nice that RP leavens its output with selected quality non-English language numbers.

Yup.
That said, hats off to RP for all the World music they're playing already. Personally, however, a little more would not hurt at all.
