I'm talking to strangers
To see what I feel,
Your face is changing now
And nothing seems real.

These things I know
Are like a baby how they grow in me;
I pull them out
Just like a baby for you to see them all.

I'm talking to strangers
To see what I need;
This love between us now,
How it's twisting in me.
I want to get it out,
I want to feel the breathing,
I want to really love,
I want to know the meaning,
I want to share all these things.

These things I know
Are like a baby how they grow in me
I pull them out
Just like a baby for you to see them all

These things I know
Are like a baby how they grow in me
I pull them out
Just like a baby for you to see them all

Please. Make. It. Stop. Ugh...
meandering sludge
I little too operatic for my rock n' roll sensibilities.

Uhhh, that would be "preface."  And your question, I guess, is valid.  Quite a unique vocal style.  Yup.

I follow you - so I dug these up.

Like it, love it. I never heard this before, but I love Oyster, wrenching though it is.
I think the pain she expresses is honest.
oh, man...she set off my home alarm.  Evidently her voice is right up there with glass breaking...
I love how she is using her voice as an instrument. Flexible, unique and creative. Love it!
Bjork or Tori?  I think she has been listening to both ladies.  Has added her own weird style tho.

Really!? Wow. I am not a fan of her voice, although I like it better when she vocalizes, as opposed as when she sings (why the hiccups?). It's ok enough not to be compared to a public restroom though! I love exageration*...
Sometimes no rating is good too...

*why does google translate this word into hype?
It doesn't really go anywhere, but I like it anyway.

Reaching way up there!
yes. i gave it a 9. her album "oyster" resonates strongly for me, and i've come to love this live album too.
Interesting. Shades of Bjork in the quaver in her voice. The sort of song that could grow on you, maybe. An initial 6 from the Nottingham jury.
