I  Agree, same here!  Thanx RP!
I think a funny video for this song would be to have him looking for his misplaced shoes (or fryable flatfish)...
extremely average rock

you are sooooo right.  this entire album is incredible!   how fortunate you are to have this man so close.   I have only seen him once, wish I had been hip to him 15 years ago.

Wonderful! Another of my Alejandro uploads gets accepted. Real Animal is one of the finest rock albums of 2008; glad to see it represented on RP.

Oufff! This is sickening!   {#Puke}

An American original.

Nice upload, man.  I've had this one in my my IPod for a while and I think it's a great add to the playlist here.

This is lame 50's-ish Springsteeny blah.
Nice boots.
Dork.

I'll have to agree with you that it is not particularly inspired, although I like it.  However check out more of Mr. Escovedo's work.
We saw him one night on Austin City Limits and he has some _great_ music.

That was a great show.  Something very haunting about his work.

All from same era - Alejandro in the 80's was a strong influence on those other artists...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alejandro_Escovedo

Finding this a little Hiatt-ish. Nice.

I voted for this one in the Listener Review Channel, a catchy song.
