...said the rapist to the victim. Yikes, I am SO not sitting back and enjoying!
Is this ANOTHER one of those "my mommie and daddie were bad to me so I'll show them, I'll cut myself" songs? Tiresome. Find a Group.
no, no, no, no not James Blunt
lo siento NO LO SOPORTO, pedo de tio. Si quiero un pastel me meto en una pasteleria y si quiero música pongo radio paradise... ¿pero esto...? ¿qué cuajeringÌes hace un pastel en la radio? Puntuación:-33
i think this song it's ok (as long as I dont see his videos or his performances on tv i'm fine with him...)
Songs alright; like most, I'm not a fan and find him uncomfortable to watch perform (seen a couple tv appearances). He seems nervous like he's keenly aware of his poser status.
Wow. An average rating of 3.4... Why so high?

What's your problem people? Sit back and enjoy. You don't always get to hear what you want to hear. This is a damn good song! Live with it.
:high-five: damn right too!
For every 100 songs, I hand out one rating of 1. Congratulations, Mr. Blunt (isn't that the sound you make when you catch yourself from vomiting?). Insipid would be a compliment.
Stop global whining.
Every time I hear this I think, "It could be worse, he could be playing phil collins." These days thats enough to get a 7 out of me. Spite puts it to 10.
James Blunt - Same Mistake :stupid: :stupid:    :puke: :puke: :group-hug: :beat:
:ass: :beat: :moon: :moon:  Just shoot me...
Like syrup on scented soap. When I heard this, I said "OK, this is a woman." I had my doubts, however. It can't be the same 'guy' who did that pop tune "...& I don't know what to do..." I remember that I first thought it was about a lesbian becoming infatuated with a woman that she saw "at a crowded place". Stupid lyrics, however. "I've got a plan..." but then "I don't know what to do.." The falsetto that he so proudly exhibits makes Joan Armatrading sound like Lee Marvin.
I probably offent numerous people here but the first thing that springs to mind when I hare JB is: "What is this song of Damian Rice I've not heard before?".
As I'm giving this tune a 1 Bill's redeeming himself with Joseph Arthur's Honey and the Moon. I have to agree with the consensus, though --- James Blunt should be gassed from the RP playlist.
WHOA WHOA WHOA: James Blunt James Blunt James Blunt ALERT!

What's your problem people? Sit back and enjoy. You don't always get to hear what you want to hear. This is a damn good song! Live with it.
Every time this song is played, the title makes perfect sense.
Not the greatest, but I've heard much worse. Even right here on RP.
I think "No-Talent-Ass-Clown" sums it up.
It wouldn't break my heart if I never heard this song again. Still... I'll take this over the Kings of Leon. That voice just grates me.

If 'eclectic' is going to mean anything, then yes, of course he belongs here. I can't stand this, but I defend Bill's right to push our boundaries and make us face up to our prejudices.
I have submitted some very solid songs that have not made the cut and this makes it through? I certainly am mistified even further when I see an artist like this make the grade.
bill, you must be laughing your ass off at all of these posts. Please don't play this anymore.
This confirms it, it is Monday, even the music sucks.

If I had my choice between this and knowing kfed was behind door 1 I would pick the door
I don't think we'll be hearing from James Blunt for awhile if this forum has anything to do with it.
just dull.
horrible top-40 sounding crap.
Not so beautiful
"Same Mistake" ... it's just TOO easy a target, really. No challenge at all.
from a review of recent sf show: Wearing a scruffy beard and furrowed brow, Blunt arrived with a set of musicians that looked suspiciously like Wings and immediately laid into one of his countless reedy ballads. By the third song he'd thrown out "You're Beautiful" and inadvertently dismissed a good chunk of the audience.

I was trying to come up with something that summarised my feelings, but you've been kind enough to do it for me. Ta.
better than nothing . . . .
...i totally thought this was a woman singing...
OH PLEASE noooooooooooooooo no just no, what's next? Kevin Federline? (i have no clue about his last name)
BORING!!
I actually like it. I was working away and knew from the voice that it was Blunt, but it's an obscure enough song that I enjoyed it. (I'm always one against the crowd....)
YETCH!!!!! BILL HAVE YOU BEEN KIDNAPPED OR WILL YOU CLAIM TEMPORARY INSANITY? THIS IS JUST TRIPE OR DRIVEL
sounds just like all his other songs...BAD!
He is talented, but... Not sure if he belongs here. 7.
Definitely not.
