What you, what you see

In your time to me and you know that you are free
And when you can be, don't think you only
What you see for remember

What you see, remember what you see
What you... Remember what you see... What you...

In your time to me and you know that you are free
And when you can be, don't think you only
What you see for remember
What you see (for remember), what you see (for remember)
What you see (for remember), what you see (for remember)

Remember what you see, remember what you see
Remember what you see, remember what you see

Wow, a sample of Sandy Denny singing her song 'Autopsy'.
 Foot tap, finger snap
Love - Love - Love
Sandy Denny sample just makes this the best track I will hear today. No doubt.
This just came on and I thought "heck that's Sandy Denny!"
jaw on floor.....

My rant about Groove Armada:

Groove Armada was probably the first electronic music I ever listened to, before I even knew what electronic music really was.

This weekend I was at a rave in a castle in the northeast of England, sitting outside in the afternoon with my friends when I heard the opening pads of Chicago by Groove Armada wafting out of an upstairs window. Had to sprint upstairs to find an empty dance floor and the DJ spinning happened to be the guy who told us about the rave. Me and my girlfriend spent the next two hours dancing like lunatics to one of the most eclectic and beautiful sets I've ever heard. The DJ later said he thought we ripped a hole in the fabric of time. He might've been right about that because later that night I experienced some very strange glitches in the machine simulating my reality - in fact I think I saw bare metal.

Next day all my friends and I double dropped, lay about in a river and did some rock stacking. Then back to the castle for the most amazing night of raving with complete strangers talking rubbish until that magic time at 4 in the morning when the only music left to be played is hardcore (for the uninitiated - basically the level up sound from an old computer game on repeat).

Music is magic, people are gods, Groove Armada is top shelf awesomeness.

wow that's some love
Groove Armada é uma dupla de música eletrônica de Londres, Inglaterra, composto por Andy Cato e Tom Findlay. Eles alcançaram o sucesso com os singles "I See You Baby" e "Superstylin". O grupo já lançou oito álbuns de estúdio, quatro dos quais já graficamente no UK Albums Chart top 50. ESTARÁ SEMPRE EM MINHA LEMBRANÇA

Good advice for EVERYTHING  in life:  Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Said another way: "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
Sandy Denny! I had to come onto the website to see what this song was.  I thought I had not heard it before, but according to RP I gave it a rating at some point!

Getting old -- you can discover the same things over and over!

Sandy Denny's voice makes this rather nice. My problem w GA is having come to them through Fat Boy Slim's "I see you baby... shakin that ass!" which just kills on a dancefloor - yet everything else from them are these drifty dreary shufflers.

Wow, I never noticed until this song how much Maire Brennan's (Clannad) voice is like Sandy Denny's.

Great song - never would have come across it if not for RP - can't believe it was released in 2002!
Great band name
I actually really kind of Like this

Why not just play the original? Denny's voice overshadows everything  else in this song (the everything  else being derivative garbage).

While I don't think this song is garbage I would really like to hear to original track 'Autopsy' off the  Fairport Convention album 'Unhalfbricking'. Or alternatively the sublime live version they did for 'Heyday the BBC Sessions 1968-1969'.
Why not just play the original? Denny's voice overshadows everything  else in this song (the everything  else being derivative garbage).
Fascinating. Haven't heard Groove Armada for years… never underestimate RP's powers of worthy resurrection
I can forgive anything to get Sandy Denny's lovely voice out there. But this is a real hatchet job.
What a loss of talent, Sandy Denny what a unique voice
I love their name, Groove Armada. How cool is that? {#Mrgreen}
The original is so much better than this.
I like !

Without the Sandy Denny sampling it might have seen a rating of 4 or 5 from me; but...her voice gives me goosebumps. It  automatically made me sit up and take notice of this song and bumps it up to 7.

I agree Bev it took me a while to warm to this, as I was stunned to hear Sandy Dennys vocal sampled into something this different. However now I’m over the shock I quite like it.

Although... I always preferred Judy Dyble's voice for its naiveté.

Damn Straight.............. this is some good $hit......
Thanks a lot for this groovy mix! Fits perfectly to the falling snow outside!
Nothing says "creativity" like an oscillator sweep.

Unless it's sampling an entire vocal track.

I think I'll go listen to some Fairport, the only enjoyable thing here.

As a long-term Fairport aficionado, this song spooked me the first time I heard it, but after I couple of listens I really love it, especially the orchestration.  And it can't be bad if it allows a new generation to hear just what a beautiful voice Sandy had.
A very cool 9
Yawn.

I thought that was Sandy Denny's voice, but will confess to not finding this to be either an improvement on her work or even a reasonably good homage to her. The tedious heavy-handed percussion really adds nothing of value. Taking a voice out of its context does not always work.
Same for me. This sounds kind of like Sandy haunting a video game.
Cool zong!

A very small Groove Armada trying to "Remember" how to find the Lovebox

I'm with you. I did not recogize the Fairport Convention song, but thought she did sound like Sandy. A few more listens are needed here.

Love this. I understand about the shock. And thanks for mentioning Fairport Convention. I knew I recognized the voice but was having a hard time placing it - wayyy out of musical context :-) I like, though. It's got a nice flow and a nice feel.

sounds like the 60's dubbed over?

First I've heard from this band, and they're aptly named: nice groove.
I like the Sandy Denny sample.
