''What I've done, what I've done.
Da da daa, da da daa.''

Let it never be said
The romance is dead
'Cause there's so little else
Occupying my head
There is nothing I need
Except the function to breathe
But I'm not really fussed
Doesn't matter to me

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaa''
And do you, do you, do you, do you? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Know what you're doing doing to me? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaa''

Due to lack of interest
Tomorrow is cancelled
Let the clocks be reset
And the pendulums held
'Cause there's nothing at all
Except the space in between
Finding out what you're called
And repeating your name

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaa''
And do you, do you, do you, do you? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Know what you're doing doing to me? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaaAh''

Could it be, could it be
That you're joking with me
And you don't really see
You with me?
Could it be, could it be
That you're joking with me
And you don't really see
You with me?

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaa''
And do you, do you, do you, do you? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Know what you're doing doing to me? ''AhaAhaAaa''
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! ''AhaAhaAaa''
And do you, do you, do you, do you? ''AhaAhaAaa.''
''Da da daa, da da daa.''
Know what you're doing doing to me? ''AhaAhaAaaAhAa.''
''Da da daa.''

Oh my god, last comment 14 years ago and no recent plays?  Come on RP, this is a good one, put this on again.

The first bonus song I "had" to buy, as it was the only one I recognized and would want to play...
Here's a nice live version of this tune featuring the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08iTlO3dRZc
I do not like this band, and I feel this song has been over-played to the point of "over-kill" over here in the UK, and I was obviously very upset to here this dreadfull song getting valuable air-time on what is possibly the best radio station in the universe, come on guy,s less of this droll, and more Radio-Head, and perhaps a bit more very early vintage Roxy-Music.
I like this band, but this song is very bad and definitely overplayed!
Best anthem of last year - and set to become a classic!
Oh shut up!
I know this song from Guitar Hero.
Not a nice segue, definitely not. Saw them on Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny on New Year's Eve and the lead singer was completely wasted. www.cubaninlondon.blogspot.com
Didn't really dig it at first but I think it's really starting to grow on me now.
"Road to Nowhere" to this---Bill's picking up the tempo a bit....good for a Friday morning kick in the pants!!
Catchy little number.
I'm not usually one to bother criticizing, but...that chorus is ludicrous. With all the wonderful music out there not seeing the light of day, why did this one make the airwaves, I wonder.
Love this. Recently saw the band live and they brilliant. :)
up to an 8 from 7.

Ha! Someone else has a 2 year old.
eee gads! But on the plus side it makes me laugh. This is one for the shower.
The chorus calls for a dramamine. In fact, make it a double.

I think I see your problem. Kill your radio.
But what about NPR and the classical station? Can't you just fix the nob so it won't go to the crap stations?
Great "Power Pop", well arranged and recorded! Hard not to like this....alot. 7 -> 9
Doo-wop vibe with Jersey garage band attitude. Good stuff.
Coming soon as the nightshift at a Burger King near you.

Who are the Kaiser Chefs? Great Googly Moogly!
Let it be known... my very first 1 rating... hated this crap the first time I heard it.
I'm sorry, what's her name again?

Really good stuff - classic structure. Great band.
Bad.
Love this song! RUBY RUBY RUBY RUBY RUBY !!! DO YA DO YA DO YA DO YA
File next to Rancid's Ruby Soho(click here).
Wasn't too keen on this one at first, but while in the Virgin Megastore the other day they played it LOUD on their oh-so-awesome in-store mega-system and, well....I was hooked!
This song is just irritation... MUTE!!!!
One of the few songs on RP that genuinely annoys me

And playing 30 year old songs repeatedly isn't repetitive?
more pop-trash?

Agree, avoiding stupid songs like this one has brought me to RP in the first place.
Love the Kaiser Chiefs but not sure this is one of their best. A truly anthemic (if that is a word) band with great lyrics
yay, i get to see them at ACL...
hmmm, i heard a drum and bass tune with a sample vocal of something like "bobby bobby bobby did'ja did'ja did'ja" last week. didn't like it so much, but then in got stuck in my head... and now this tune has practically the same chorus only with male vox. now i really wanna know where that sample came from. :(
I thought, man, if this is off of McCartney's new album, it's not bad.
Excellent! Heard this in the LRC, glad to see it made the playlist :)
Have to admit - am quite surprised this is on RP. It plays on the radio all the time. Not a favorite, but then this is not a perfect world. Will this song be remembered in 10 years? 5? 1?

Hmmm, in seems like we have an influx of 2007 ACL Festival bands. Kaiser Chiefs, Nationals. They were at the 2005 festival. They were very good, as well as being overwhelmed by the heat.
Finally on RP!
i like it.
Saw these guys in Boston live - pretty good live show, lots of energy.
