7:00 AM, so it begins again
One zip favouring familiar silhouettes
Left whips and chains
Behind I'm boycotting trends
It's my new look this season

Riding on backs of palominos
Primed for an attack
It's as good as good as it gets

With girl disappearing
What on earth's occurring?
'Cause she's right in front of me
A girl disappearing
To some secret prison behind her eyes
She whispers, "Big surprise
There was no protection by this urban light
So I'm running to a constellation
Where they can still see you"

Envy can spread herself so thinly
She slipped in before I could notice it
In my own war, blood in the cherry zone
When they pit woman against feminist

Riding on backs of palominos
Ditching the blond shell
Working her hell on that red carpet

With girl disappearing
What on earth's occurring?
'Cause she's right in front of me
A girl disappearing
To some secret prison
But she's right in front of me

A girl disappearing
To some secret prison behind her eyes
She whispers, "Big surprise
There was no protection by this urban light
So I'm running to a constellation
Where they can still see you"

Then I'm running too
If that's a consolation
'Cause I can still see you

I like her, just wish she would grow beyond the hurts growing up as a pastors child.

I don't absolutely love everything Tori does, but I feel a need to boost her ratings every time Bill plays one of her songs just because I think that for whatever reason, she attracts irrational haters. If this tune came out under someone else's name, I'll bet it would pull at least a 6 overall.

Guess I'm gonna have to demote her ratings by one to counter you, linden. I only wish Tori would take her title "Girl Disappearing" and use it as some self-directed career advice.

As Dr. Smith used to say, "The pain, the pain..."

The chicken looks cool with it so. . .

songs alright, but the cover art is just creepy. what are they planning on doing with the chicken?

That's the "Fallen Eagle" representing the US ( it's a symbol of our power gone wrong)

Judging from the state of that one on the right, whatever they were planning - they've already done it.

Anyone else think she stole this tune from Vienna Teng?
Brilliant as usual......
One of my favorites from ADP. The strings are a little bit too clean for my tastes, but generally this one works well, and I think it holds up well without the whole persona concept on ADP.
Most of the time, Tori is over my head but for the several gems she's produced, I'm a loyal fan.
as irratating as dengue fever.
...sometimes debatable, but in this case so kate bush...
Thank you, as always, for playing Tori- what about rasberry swirl sometime?
One of the more acceptable TA tunes... and that's a THREE.

She is so freskin creepy. I luv it.
Can it, woman.
Ive always wanted to like Tori because of her vauge sound resemblance to Kate Bush, but I sense such a superficial artiface from her that the best i can do is lower the volume in palpable digust.

Yawn.
I think she lost me after Under The Pink (an awesome album).
Lock her up and feed her cornflakes "girl"
thought it was kate bush for a moment..

Uhmmm, how about one hour would be too many hours in a day...come on...if you want Tori all day, pull out your CD's. She is good but that is quite an overboard statement.
Hey, it's a free country. (Goes and checks) Ooops. Not any more. OK. Carry on.
An acquired taste, to be sure - one that I have not acquired. She's WORDY.
This album reminds me of previous efforts like From the Choirgirl Hotel and Boys for Pele - she's getting inaccessible again. Whenever she gets too introspective, she loses me. Oh well.
I like this song better than any others I've heard from this album.

Yup, I've found someone whose music I can't stand on RP. This, believe me, was a challenging task as my tastes are diverse and my tolerance high. But Tori Amos has done it. Oh please, make it stop!
Thirded. And how.

Wish we could have a Tori Only Day, from the first track to the last would there be enough hours in the day?

Now finish off this downward spiral into morosity with anything by Apocalypta.
pretty. love. cascading.
This is more typical tori than big wheel is.

More! Tori!
As boring and uninspiring as the rest of her stuff-just personal taste mind you.
I was hoping it was gonna remain commentless
