We had to get a dog sitter to go see Tori perform in Frankfurt, and we thought- what if we get to see Santa and she sings "Bring Your Dog"? Could we bring them and when she takes the stage hold up our mini dachshunds and scream, "We brought our dogs!!! You said we could!!!"

Tori is definitely an acquired taste...like black coffee, a strong merlot, or caviar. I can appreciate what she's trying to do concept-wise...but every album since 'Boys for Pele' seems to get farther & farther into "peyote-land." First the baby pig...now the chicken...she may have a farm animal fetish going on too...
And I'm acquiring that taste, as I have for merlot, freshly ground black coffee, et al, without any trouble at all. Know where the peyote is, further and further?

Tori wanted the Posse to have a mascot, like the USA has the Eagle. It was supposed to be a cockerel, but what had been brought to the shoot ended up a hen. lol Sorry, to disappoint, but not fetish here. ;)
She has lost some of the power in her voice, which is why I think she's slightly tweaked her vocal style. However, I like this song and it shows she's got some of her edge back. It rocks!

It's one of my favorite songs from the album. I love the "yelping" Her rock driven songs are the best ones on the album, imo. I still can't believe "Big Wheel" is the kickoff single. I still don't like that one.

At her best, Amos is truly brilliant, but, IMO, she often exerts more effort in showing off her intellectual capacity than she does in trying to ensure her music remains listenable. This number seems to be one of those cases. Too clever, by half.
I love it! A level-headed response to Tori! Thanks, KSC. It's way too rare.

rating it a 1 at 10 seconds into the song seems like a really lame thing to do.
