You should decide what you want to believe in
How can I describe what I'm receiving
It's like the marquee says, "One Night At The Stage"
You want to live forever but you don't want to age

I just can't help wondering
It's such a waste of time

The life-buoy in the life-boat he was a sailor
You could not describe him, oh the words would just fail you
And Justine's laced up tight in her shoes
You're gonna get it whatever you choose

I just can't help wondering
It's such a waste of time

That's the blues man
That's the big town
That's the rebound
That's the comedown

As high as a mountain as fast as a first (?)
Lying beside a fountain dying of thirst
And the marquee says, "One Night At The Stage"
Wait 'til I let this soul out of it's cage

And I just can't help wondering
It's such a waste of time

That's the blues man
That's the big town
That's the rebound
That's the comedown

(Quiet section)
That's a weird trick (?)
That's a bad hit
That's the rebound
That's the comedown

Yes Pouchy - you are confused. VERY CONFUSED!

Lloyd "Cool" is a league of it's own.
I league you cannot understand (even I have some troubles).

To compare "The Church" (uuurgh) with Lloyd is an offense
you have to live with for the rest of your confused life!

In Brighton, right...?

Now take your Vespa and drive off the cliff!

However, both excellent...why not more tracks of each?

I am hearing Lloyd Cole. . . Not only the vocal but the style to some extent. Not that its a bad thing, if he HAD done it, it would have been one of the best things he had done.

Now I have confused myself. . .

...just made my night...

The vocals seem to be recorded too loud for the music.............kinda hurts the cut.................like The Church though.
Insignificant. Anecdótico.
Their new CD—Untitled #23—is brilliant; something from that Bill-san?
"The Unguarded Moment" sure would sound great on Paradise.

Agreed, I'm not religious but I believe in The Church (I mean the band)

I have yet to hear a Church song here on RP that I do not like, and this is no exception.
Some very nice jangly guitars on this one!

...i've gathered that friday mornings are RP's traditional time for airing new additions to the library; i need to make a point to tune in each week... ...so nice to see this finally through six months on the LRC... ^_^
Wow! Bill is really digging through the vaults today! Here's an obscure gem from a Church album little know even to Church fans. The Church is ALWAYS welcome. Nice.
