Roof top and I can't stop
The rhythm of the raindrops
That mingle with my tears
Orange glow, the radio
Reminds me you're not here, and I'm aware
And now I'm reminiscing
All the things we shared
Staring at the leaves, talking to the trees
All of these, especially sunshowers

Blue Jean is striking off
The checklists from the magizines
That clutter up her room
"Can you spot the warning signs
Of boredom letting itself in your life?"
Well, can you tell?
Is it something that I said or do I smell?
Maybe I can change
Maybe I'm insane
Baby, I just need a sweet...

I shuffle down the sidewalk in the afternoon
On Monday afternoon
Whistlin' while I walk away
I look up to the sky and wonder why
The clouds have gathered seem to say goodbye
Adios, my friend
Bon Voyage again
Arrivederci, everyone
Sunshower

These guys are better than their legacy would indicate.  This came out in '89, when rock music went either hip hop or grunge, leaving them in musical no man's land.
Never heard this, or these guys, before. Interesting. And this doesn't sound like it's 32 years(!!) old.

Very good band...Sunshower not the greatest song.  Ballerina Out of Control, Ask Me Jon, I've Sung One Too Many Songs are good good songs.  Not this one.
Haven’t thought of these guys in a while. Thanks
I saw these guys during spring break in 1989 or 1990 in Daytona. It was a multi-band bill, I remember John Wesley Harding also played, and I'm sure other bands as well, but I'm blanking on who else was there.  Super fun show, they will always have a place in my heart.

Lol. Love the Stewart quip. Interesting song though, it really doesn't sound like 1989, sounds more contemporary.

Faster tempo and different drumming style than a normal Ocean Blue song. Still like it. Love this band.

I was totally coming here to make fun of Morrissey, and it ain't even him. :(

Wait, this isn't British? Damn, I was getting a strong Housemartins vibe from it all.

My favorite music review ever was of this band. It read:

This would be that love child.

...Ahh, but it wasn't Robert Smith; it was (surprise!) Al Stewart in lipstick and a fright wig.

Yes, that's the first thought that crossed my mind too! Year of the Cat, On the Border...etc.
One of rock's great lispers. Neil Tenant was the best.
OMG this is horrible. Is he singing the karaoke version? I've heard better at the Wild Horse Saloon on Friday's "Vandy Girls Sing-along Night"

Nice to hear something new, and I really like the Ocean Blue!
"Is it something that I said or do I smell?" Let's toss them off of some vast veranda...

I was sure this was some obscure Smiths song.
