Hey ScottFromWyoming, it was 1976 and a blizzard was blowing in from the west. Two highway patrolmen were closing the gates on I25 as I was heading south to Denver from my last stop in Cheyenne. I could barely see out the front window as I crept along south but I knew I could outrun the worst of the storm, just as long as I didn't panic. I made it back to the factory in Denver about 2 and 1/2 hours later just in time to drive home from work in that same storm. I settled in, cracked open a beer and took my Martin D-35, with the nice 3 piece back, out of it's case. Dropped the low E string to D and did some aimless finger picking for about 45 minutes and as I was starting to get warmed up, there was a knock at my front door. I opened it up and there stood Gina. She wanted to spend the storm with someone. I got her a beer from the fridge and put the guitar away. That was one song that never got finished..
That's beautiful man... I'm going to copy that to a .txt file and drop it into a thread next time I want to annoy a bunch of people I don't know.

I agree they're totally taking their cue from Messers Partridge 'n' Moulding. Not a bad thing...but tough to compete with the originals, imo. 6 for now

Every song from these guys played on RP so far has sucked. In the worst way. This is one of the few songs where I deeply wish there was a rating less than one. In fact, if I had only one 1 rating for the entire library, this song would get the badge of honor. Please, stop this brutal assualt on my ears!

Agreed! I bought this album on the strentgh of the reviews, and it is a fascinating cd, with each song sounding very different. It's the kind you have to listen to over and over to get it.

So different from Province. So different from Wolf Like Me. The more I hear this album, the more I really appreciate it.
I like TV on the Radio, but I don't like this song.

Doesn't tickle my ears, but I appreciate the unusual and interesting quality of it. Would be curious to hear other songs from this band (but not curious enough yet to buy the CD).

Well, for whatever reason this album made NPR's top ten list for 2006. And David Bowie appears on it.

I listen to a lot of electronic music, and even I think it's repetitive, not in a good way.
"What IS this?" My wife asked me when first it came on. "I dunno," I replied. Still don't.
I like the guys voice, but I can't do that whole atonal-two-songs-at-once thing goin on.
