I live in California with my girl Quang Cho
She won the bronze in the '88 hammer throw

The lyrics take this from a 7 to an 8.

Im a democrat and i say this song sucks.

Are independents permitted to say he sucks?

This is a song about a Californian? Sounds like a good ol' boy from Texas to me. I love rock stripped to its bare essentials, I like this song plan especially. Here's a list: Black Dog-ledZep ChanginTimes-Nazareth Oh well..-Fleetwood Mick and many more. This dude sounds like a ZZTop take on that formula. That's a compliment BTW.

Hmm, I heard it as "she baked my Pa into a casserole"
Sorry, that's for amateurs. crinky wrote:

Have seen Bob live opening for Sheryl Crow and wasn't all that impressed with him (he's got lots of fans around these Austin parts) but I kinda like this straight up stuff... didn't know he rocked. Will have to give him the benfit of the doubt. How come everytime a simple straight forward rock song comes on the whiners come out in droves and sneer at how awful it is? emo/indie loving snobs I guess.

The Bob must be experienced live, preferably in Austin, although last night here in Indy was good as well. The Bob is rather amazing. It's not just one of those, "oh he sounds better live" kinda things, it's just much easier to appreciate his talent and attitude. So there.
I heard a rumor that he's conquered his fear of flying. If that's the case, I hope to see more of his shows here in Ohio. I didn't know he was in Indy this past summer. Apparently he skipped Ohio.

most excellent.
Anyone tell this guy NOT to tug on Superman's cape?

Obnoxious, airheaded, derivative, platitude Rock. . . But it still rocks my little obnoxious inner airhead...
Derivative and pretty unforgettable but hits the spot
Bob shows are teh bomb!

I hope this song is on this CD. I just bought it.. :) Seems like that last few CD's I've bought through RP, the songs on the CD are not the songs beging played. Keep rocking Bob!
"I'm Good Now" is easily his best CD in my opinion....this is nothing in comparison.
This is...awful.

Just saw Bob last week. Excellent show, though the venue wasn't suited for him. He and the band adapted well. Very entertaining.

Or maybe the good American stuff!!!!! I'm guessing this dude must rip live. Anyone seen him?
Yes!! Bob tears it up. He is AMAZING live. Seemless performance, and an absolute must see! I go out of my way to see Bob live. I know he is touring widely these days... check it out at: https://www.bobschneidermusic.com/

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Remember when people were saying Rock and Roll was dead? Here was the evidence they were pointing to.
3 => 2 Have to agree, this brings nothing to the table.

Exactly. I'll take the Fleetwood Mac version any day. This sounds like warmed over ZZ Top.
This is Schneider?
Sounds like it comes straight out of the era when I started loving music... Won't tell you when that was - you do the math...
Yeah, Bokey nailed it. Still a good riff is a good riff and you may as well steal from the best. On second listen bumped from a 7 to 8

Yeah....Keep the Schneider tunes a coming! That's 3 in 2 days that i've heard!!! Just when I though RP couldn't get any better! Superman can kiss RP's ass!
Pretty rockin' stuff. Sounded like ZZ Top to me....and that's a compliment..
liked him better in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.
