Yellow moon, yellow moon,
Why you keep peeping in my window?
Do you know something I don't know?
Did you see my baby
Walking down the railroad tracks?
You can tell me if the girls
Ever coming back.
Is she hid out with another
Or is she trying to get back home?
Is she wrapped up in some other's arms?
Or is the girl somewhere all alone?
Can you see if she is missing me,
Or is she having a real good time?
Has she forgotten all about,
Or is the girl still mine all mine?

With your eye so big a shiney
You can see the whole damn land
Yellow moon can you tell me
If the girl's with another man?

Oh yellow moon,
Have you seen that creole woman
You can tell me,
Now ain't you a friend of mine.

With your eye so big a shiney
You can see the whole damn land
Yellow moon can you tell me
If the girl's with another man?

Oh yellow moon,
Have you seen that creole woman
You can tell me,
Now ain't you a friend of mine.

Aaron Neville is so much more enjoyable to listen to when he is doing cajun/creole with his brothers rather than his solo romantic warbling ballads.

I saw the entire band once in Vancouver years back, and wow. Sensational show, and Aaron sang two of his big hits, and that was precisely enough! As part of the group, he's fantastic.  The whole band just COOKS on stage!
Sitting at home, waiting for the start of the Super Blood Wolf Moon.
Between the Neville Brothers and Sonny Landreth, I feel like I'm at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival! And that's a good thing!
FANTASTIC VOICE
This has a really harsh sound compared to the studio version. Kills the mood that I liked.
Great song.

Now, if we can get the Neville brother's live version of Congo Square instead of the overplayed one by Sonny Landreth, I'd be a happier listener.

I'm a happier listener. Thanks for hearing me. ;-)

You're probably thinking of the Live On Planet Earth recording.

I like this one better. :)

Very good!

Yellow moon spells out master key.
Now, if we can get the Neville brother's live version of Congo Square instead of the overplayed one by Sonny Landreth, I'd be a happier listener.
Unlike this version the horn players aren't trying to steal the show with barbed, venomous ear-worms. Nice!
Fantastic! Any questions?!  {#Cool}
