This is a fun rendition. Perhaps my favorite version is by Chet Atkins and Les Paul on their album Chester and Lester, which is gratefully out on CD. My original LP is plumb worn out.

No.  The accompanying music for the plate-spinner on the Ed Sullivan Show was "The Sabre Dance", but apparently some people think that all music made before 1966 or so sounds the same.

Sounds so sexy if you have an early 20th century mind. This was the rock and roll of our great-grand parents. I am sure that many in its time thought of it as a subversive.
