Great song and I thought it was  about the 60's and the "loui loui" song from that decade and the shot poet was John Lennon, I got wiser here :-)

Wow, what a flat distribution of rankings; basically 16% tallies from 3 to 8
That's a good sign

This artist is from the Faroe Islands (as announced after the track). If you're interested in finding out more about the Faroe Islands (e.g., only 47k people live there), my mother-in-law lived there for a year (came back to the U.S. a month ago). She has a blog about it. https://www.jenniferhenke.com/

 I am underwhelmed. What did Oscar Wilde say? "All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling."
Listless voice, meaningless lyrics, unremarkable playing. Got a lot going for him, that's for sure. And just what DOES Luis Armstrong have to do with a tidal wave?

I think this song is growing on my nerves! Perfect time to go to lunch.

Did you ask him what Louis Armstrong had to do with the 2004 tsunami?

Saw Teitur last week in LA and he performed this song, definitely the highlight from the new album. He mentioned he wrote it in response to the Tsunami in 2004, and it's basically a love letter to Louis Armstrong who he admired not only as a musician, but especially as a person. If you ever have an opportunity to see Teitur live I would recommend it. His live rendition of Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire" is spooky.

Louis, Louis, we gotta go now.
Yah, we do. This isn't a bad song, but the "Louie Louie" bothers me. Perhaps it's supposed to.
