I was all geared up and ready to go
Bounding for to leave my mountain home with a sky of blue
Between the leaves and the color of the water was green
High over the sea
"Do you have to leave so soon my boy?
The winter time ain't even begun…."
"Well I'd stay awhile," I turned to
Say
"But the color of the water is grey and I'm going away…"

Anyone remember when the Lawrence Welk kids did a completely innocent version of this? At least I think it was innocent!
Hilarious! RP follows this up with Brewer and Shipley as before. Hah!
15 years - maybe I get the reason why.

Sounding like Shawn Mullins - nice tune!
Shades of Harvest Moon.
Love it!! Great way to wake up in the AM

Brilliant new acoustic set going on here, Bill. Good stuff.
Yeah, I really enjoyed it too. This song was a nice touch.

Hmm... Spacey country? Still thinking about this one.
This gets at least a 7 because it's pleasant and well played. The vocals don't feel too nice, though.
