Lyrics:

Took a long time to find them
We drove along the ocean road
Pulling a trailer behind them
It's a heavy load

The land torments the sea
He won't let her in
Time and again
He should just give in

Now when the ground beneath it trembles
And when the locks start to fall
I know there'll be no resistance
To her endless heart

The land torments the sea
She flings herself on him
So full of longing
He should just give in
In to her love

The man is alone
Full of anger turned to stone
And he hides his face
Drives along the ocean road

The land torments the sea
He won't let her in
Time and again

The man forgets to breathe
Looking for trouble
Trying to find reasons
He should just give in
In to her love

Have the Finns ever written or recorded a bad song? I think not.
They've written a few, but not many. For a chip off the old block, listen to Neil Finn's son Liam. His new album I'll be Lightning is amazing.

You can spot Finn voices instantly! Thank you, whoever uploaded this!!!
thanks to RP, I now know that these guys are soooooo much more than "don't dream it's over". These guys are the real deal.
Reminds me of something different but similar.
If you get the "bonus edition with DVD" of the Finn's "Everyone is Here" album, this is one of the tracks on the DVD. There are about 4 or 5 other really great b-sides on there too.
Lovely song from the Finn Bros/ex Crowded house. Very underated.
I pretty much like anything Neil Finn sings.
Love the slide! Nice easy tune.
This is fairly bad.
something wrong with this
