Every day I recognise
What's deceased and what's alive
But don't repeat what I've just said
Until gold has turned to lead
Then all the tales will be told
Whilst you and I are in the cold
But don't think this is the end
Cos it's just begun my friend

When it's done
And all this is gone
Just find a feeling, pass it on

For every tear cried in shame
There'll be someone else to blame
And every crime that I commit
There'll be a punishement to fit
But I'd accept what's coming round
If I could only lose this sound
That's been ringing in my ears
And tormenting me for years

When it's done
And all this is gone
Just find a feeling pass it on

No, actually it's not.  The melody is reminiscent in a few spots but it's not even the same chord progression.  Are these guys influenced by The Beatles?  It's likely, but how many bands are not?
Please, if you don't like them, listen something more on youtube, they are REALLY GOOD!!

This thing is stolen from - ok - You like me to much - and i like you - but from 100 other songs too - ok i know it it is hard today to find a melody which has never been used before ....

Guys, this is just George Harrison's You Like Me Too Much from Help album and nothing more!
Put me down as a yes for more "The Coral".  There's really quite a bit of good stuff on their early records we should be adding here.

makes me happy! thanks
First heard this a few years back when I used to listen to Virgin radio online (back in the days before I discovered RP). The Coral was one of a few cool bands I found out about by listening to London radio; others were The Stereophonics, Feeder, The Stranglers, and The Rasmus.
fun little ditty but not especially memorable
Heard this first on a CMG CD, great tune
watch it here , pass it on!
I have nothing against that song but, some people rated it as being "GOD LIKE" (10)?? Gee! I am in no hurry to die then. Heaven must be quite boring...
Where's my Prozac...?
cute
