There's no point in doin' what I've done
Lives are goddamned ruined like the runts

Take me back to the weather
Bend the tracks wish forever
Take me back for I go down there no more

Chew us up and spit us out again
Wavin' bye and getting high on trends

Take me back to the weather
Bend the tracks and wish forever
Take me back for I go down there no more

Well the road is long
But I know I can survive
Been away so long
Anyway I saw what I could find

Take me back to the weather
Bend the tracks and wish forever
Take me back for I go down there no more

Oh no.I was so much into Mazzy Star. Dont think Vines was a good option here.

gotta say, that "segue" was abrupt.... actually made me jump.
Now, with Plodding Tempo!!  {#Eh}
Take me back before the stock market crashed.
the password is "dreamy."

The Vines sorta creep up on you.

If you had any experience with autistic patients (high functioning or otherwise), you'd realize how asinine your statements are. Playing the armchair semantacist are we? There's skepticism, and then there's flat out ignorance.
"...like The RUNS."??
UUMMM, why are we listening to this twice in a row? :stupid:

Sounds like it is time to change the batteries in your hearing aide. :stupid:

Heh! I thought my connection had dropped some packets. Apparently, not even Bill is perfect. Close enough, though.

Ass-burgers doesn't exist - and it's GROSS, but The Vines are awesome.

Funny quip. I have heard of Asperger's for years. Now PMDD, that was invented to sell more Prozac....there was a story on CBS news about drug marketing, and how firms are given the task of giving physical inconveniences snazzy names to sell new drugs. I am sure it can be located by a google search....Sad.
Thank God they invented a drug for restless leg syndrome (RLS). I don't ever have to get out of my Stratolounger again.

This is the kind of song that is barely good once. Boring the second time. Annoying the third time and and just sucks every time after that.

I don't get it. What do you hear i this song? The voice is the same (boooring) all the time and I really don't like it. Like he was trying to teach something to stupid children and already a little unnerved imho. Not really liking it himself, and just "dullingly" (is that english?) going on... The rest isn't interesting too, or what should be?
For those who've posted here doubting Asperger's as a legitimate developmental condition, you've hit upon one of the most noted characteristics- a monotonous style of speech/vocalization (consider Gary Neuman, another who's been public about his diagnosis). Not that that alone affects my thoughts about the song/art; people and expression are too unique to always effectively saddle with labels. Nice tune.
This song is very simple and nice. It sorta glows.
very cute. makes me smile. *edit* - listening to the words makes me think that 'cute' is the wrong word, but the sound makes me feel otherwise.

Groovy and nice. Makes me play the air guitar every time.
This album is almost as good as their first. Great song... But this dude still doesn't have any disease except just wasted and unruly.
not sure what all the psychobabble was about, but I'm definately gonna check these guys out. good tune

Dude, If kids today did the amphetamines available when I was a kid (70s), Holy Shit! Black Beauties! I think that they'd pause for a couple of days just to get their shit together. Not that I know anything about this. Heh heh
My first thought was, "Pfft. This is NOT the Vines. Oh wait...it is the Vines." This comment doesn't really mean anything other than that the Vines (and RP) sometimes surprise me.

Cruise is a kook and a Scientologist. Oops - sorry for being redundant. However, there is substance to the argument that a market is being cultivated here. Be skeptical.
I think these guys evoke some great voices of the past while blending them and putting them out with some new and really groovy vibes... I love many of their tracks amazingly intensely...
I just downloaded this album and it is really good, especially while driving (fast)! These guys have a sound that IMHO is like the Stone Roses, especially in their choruses.
