We have lots of DD flashbacks in Germany. Dirty Dancing is STILL popular here. I don't think it ever stopped being popular. You still hear this song in the discos. There are entire nights devoted to Dirty Dancing in the clubs all the time, and this year a musical theatre adaptation of DD opened in Cologne. It's been a huge hit. The worst is when "Time of my Life" is played randomly in a disco. Then all the Germans get on the dancefloor and do this lame honky dance.

Would be hard to do when we're not in the same room, so here you go... the dance begins by stepping backward with one foot with that heel tilted inward. The foot is positioned slightly behind the other (stationary) foot. With the weight on the ball of the starting foot, the heel is then swiveled outward. The same process is repeated with the other foot: step back and behind with heel inward, pivot heel out, and so on. The pattern is continued for as many repetitions as desired. Maybe I'll bust this out at the concert I'm going to tonight
