Was about to PSD then saw it was Eno - an old favorite -  so decided to keep listening.  When I looked at the comments, I  realized I did the  same thing  not too long ago!   Is the third time the charm?

I'm a big Eno fan going all the way back to Roxy. As such I like this. Like it, don't love it.

I could list about 100 Eno tracks I'd prefer to hear and that would likely score higher than the (current) 5.9 this one has rated, but frankly I'm always stoked to hear Eno on any kind of radio, so it's a qualified thumbs up from me.

I haven't heard much of Brian Eno's music, but I sorta liked this one because of the repetition.  It's one of those songs that makes really great background noise for a writer or a painter because it doesn't draw the writer's or painter's intellect and passion away from the creative focus.  The music just cruises along, innocuous and inspiring without being invasive or particularly profound.

Fellow RP fans, I have to preface my comments by saying that I'm a big Brian Eno fan — I have 5 of his albums, from Ambient 1, through Tuesday Afternoon, and Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks.  He is THE foremost creator of the ambient music genre (imho.)  I loved his work (in the day) with Roxy Music, and I absolutely bow down to his co-production with Daniel Lanois of some of U2's best work (again imho.)  His production work with David Bowie & Talking Heads is also amazingly great.

Yes. Agreed. As near as I can tell, he was one of THE major influence in the creation of ambient music. (Along with Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, of course.) Looking forward to hearing more.
