Shameless sea
Aimlessly so blue
Midnight-moon shines for you

Still, marooned
Silence drifting through
Nowhere to choose
Just blue...

Ceaselessly
Star-crossed you and me
Save our souls
We'll be forever blue

Waves roll
Lift us in blue
Drift us
Seep right through
And colour us blue

Wait for me
Shameless you, the sea
Soon, the Blue
So soon...

until the guitar wakes up, this sounds (for me) really "elevator music"
could a guitar solo alone, makes a good song from a boring melody ??

I could stay forever in this sentimental elevator...
This would be great for my insomnia. Aural Mogadon
Do I hear Graham Nash and Dave Crosby harmonies here!  Never to be heard again - RIP Mr Crosby - if only 'Laughing' were to follow this track!!
AMAZINGGG!

Agreed, unmistakable DNA
Takes me back to the first time I heard Momentary Lapse of Reason as a teenager - watching the sky imagining flight. Gilmore's guitar OMG... More Please!!!
So Gilmour it hurts

Fetching at just the right moment.
Hellooooooo '80s. I find it hard to believe he composed it this decade.

Can't say I have that same problem
booooooooooooooooooooooooooring
I am absolutly convinced now, David Gilmore needs Roger Waters to save him from his inner schlock miester.
It's good to see he hasn't lost his touch for creating beautiful solos
I at first thought I was listening to SOMA.(Drone Zone)
I hate to slam such a great musician, but this seems like a pretty lame effort. 3. And generous at that.
Stand out track from the album, sounded even better at Radio City Music Hall

Yeah, really, we need some more (I need some more) upbeat numbers this morning. A little too somnolent (sp?) for me today.
a welcoming moment of calm
damn, this is dull.
Beautiful album.
STUNNING...life is good.
The Blue: Could this be where older musicians go on their way to retirement?
Getting to like this effort - could be the Red Wine, but there are definite "hints" of the Floyd and that's good enough for me!

I guess I don't have the proper medication to enjoy this... It is pretty cool to be the first to comment on this song though. Don't usually have that honor!
