Actually, most music makes me want to dance with my wife. . . but this in particular will get me sidling up to her and getting a shimmy on.

... or her chemise off?
Clever, playing this right after S&G's For Emily...

Ha, the last time you guys played this for us on RP (about a week or so ago) you had played Simon and Garfunkel's "For Emily" just prior to it....  Then this tune started up and it kept skipping back to "For Emily" and I seriously thought RP was having a very weird technological glitch.  That was awesome.  Really had me there.

Same sequence two years later (For Emily ... to Havana Blues) minus the glitch
For Emily, from Simon and Garfunkel makes me wish for a repeat button. This makes me thankful for the skip option.

I have had RP glitch on me before, but less than RP making me glitch myself :)
"I kissed your...what?"  I must be going deaf...

Thanks, Radio Paradise!

I just heard these two songs together for the first time.  First for Havana Blues too.  Liked them together.   Liked them apart.   RP keeps me comin back.

There is no appropriate musical comparison of them.
Heard the S&G song and was wondering if this was coming next.  Nice!
Still better that anything Neil Young sang. I like it more and more.

There's a bit more than that going on here.

You think George Martin just twisted a couple knobs and cashed a check?
love it

Why should that be required?  That might take the fun out of it.  Anyhow, all of the members of this band play musical instruments.

No matter what you say (and I agree with you), this is just such a happy tune I cannot agree with you. I love it.

Neat segue from "For Emily Wherever I May Find Her." This night one year ago my best friend died. Emily, wherever he may find her, was one of his touchstones.

Oh wow, I never noticed the S&G song this song is sampling until BillG put it just before this one.

In my own defense, I only ever heard that song as a tiny child.

LOVE this song! Just salsa'd around the house to it on high volume.

if anybody has an actual link to this actual song where i could buy it, i'd appreciate it. have not been able to find it... anywhere.
Used to like this, now finding it tedious.
Official - I DO like this tune. Groovy, casual, and good musIcanship

edit:  Weird: like it today.  What's going on?
"Caught in crinoline" - wtf?!? Time to get the old ear wax remover out again, I think. Cool trippy sound, though - 8 from the chilled Nottingham jury, despite the hot album sleeve.
Fun piece. If it was in Ocean's 11. Otherwise, it's repetitive. Nice Caribbean-and-margarita dance track, though.
sounds even better the second time around....

''I kissed your honey hair,'' indeed.
Now that's real Art.
Loving this as much as my (not so little) valve amp!

interesting. what a creative combination - for emily and salsa-type beat. i love it!

nice
What a fun, sexy song!
love it
I love this!  Anyone know where can I find it?

Love this track
Nice segueway from Greg Brown to this. Good flow.
Mmmmn, simply love this one — especially nice following Hooverphonic "You Love Me To Death" which followed Bonobo "Between The Lines".  Aye Carumba!  It's quarter to midnight I need to go to bed soon......too much good music!
I like this song fine, but it makes me wonder why I hear this all the time and the sampled S&G song (which I see now has a much higher rating) so rarely.

i like this very much.
A repetitious, but otherwise rhythmically contagious mash-up {#Sunny}

Hum along with "Livin' La Vida Loca".  It works.
Sample of Art Garfunkel?
Sounds a lot like Lemon Jelly.  Great background music!

I think you will find that Poland is no longer a socialist state in the sense you imagine. In fact it's been free of soviet control since - oh about 1989 or thereabouts.

I don't like this one.  I switch it off.  Other Namaste is OK.
This is great stuff.  Not available on iTunes or Amazon either.  baah!

if what I read below is correct then the most significant thing about this tune/band/artist is that its Polish; not overly surprising with people and music spreading out all over but its kind of bland too; sorta reminds me of Gabriel Rios "Angelhead" except that is much more interesting to listen to...
