"Kiss Off" comes to mind.
Not one of their best. They typically remind me of a Scottish X. Great live show.
I only rated this a two so I can come back and rate it a one the next time I hear it.
Repulsion Box- Aply put
Damn. "Repulsion" is the right word.
I rated this a 1 the first time I heard it. The second listen hasn't changed my mind.
Good call on the B52's. That was my first thought too.
Flashbacks to the B52's....
A bad ad for Scotland.
Beautiful. She sounds so selfassured, a strong woman!
au contraire, this is a gREAT BAND!!

one more time...kudos to one of the funniest RP comments in a while!
worth an 8 for the cover art I reckon
I only gave it a 'Decent', but it is interesting and I'm glad to hear it. The Violent Femmes similarity also occurred to me...

I couldn't have described it better!
There is much better / cleaner / sharper music out there. Though I have always had a weekness for the ladies from Scotland (the accent is killer) but they always ending up drinking you under the table and head butting you on the dance floor. Heaven forbid you are a Rangers Fan when they are a Celtics fan. Dont care for the tune... Radio Paradise could select much better material
... I was just about to tell my workmate to listen in since he had not heard of The Violent Femmes, but then it was a girl singing, and I thought.. What? What a rip off! Sounds good though.
"Repulsion Box," eh? Well, it's repulsive all right, I'll give it that.

Like this a lot. It's got that "deliberatly rough-edged" indie thing going on (not a big turn-on for me normally), but a quality tune.
Pippin and Merry have put out an album with the Violent Femmes. Wow!
Woman + scottish accent = hottest thing ever.
They sound more like the Femmes than the Femmes ever did. Only about 20 years later.
