Time won't save our souls
Time won't save our souls
Time won't save my soul, no

Well everything's going down
Nothing seems to feel the same
No one seems to know my name
No one seems to go my way
Who knows if I'll see you again
Who knows if I'll see you again

One more for the soul mate dreamers
One more for the wicked man
One more for the peaceful protest
That keeps the war in demand
Who knows if I'll see you again
Who knows if I'll see you again
(Probably not darling)

Time won't save our souls
Time won't save my soul, no
Time it won't save our souls
Time won't save my soul, no

I never thought I'd see it coming
I never thought I'd ever know
Nothing seems to take me over
Nothing seems to let me go
Who knows if I'll see you again
Who knows if I'll see you again

the first part reminds me of These Boots are Made for Walkin' by Nancy Sinatra and then it starts to sound like The Monkees' Last Train to Clarksville...
.. two ends of the same stick..
the 'one more..' How can that be misunderstood?
I love this whole album.
Love the tune but, someone please clarify:
"One more for the peaceful protest
That keeps the war in demand"

?
awesome! sounds like its 1960

Just so long as it's not Feckling good.{#Naughty}
X-C-lent!  So it's BRMC, and I thought it was sounding a bit like Depeche Mode. Who cares, both options are great!

Brilliant.

Finally on RP.

Finally?  As in finally since at least Sep 13, 2005 - 14:45.  That finally?

Sorry, just being snarky. {#Cheesygrin}
Love the playful guitar in this, especially toward the end!

And how good is this?

Brilliant.

Finally on RP.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club   The name was taken from the Marlon Brando movie "The Wild One. " His motorcycle gang was called The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. That's all I know about it, except that I know I really love this band!

miss you so much, Cynaera...

this song is still good for the ears...
GOOD!!!
i love these guys - how cool to be able to create hard, dark noise, and then this album, with acoustic-based tunes. shufflin' my feet.
Santa Barbara? I saw them when they opened here two years ago for Stone Temple Pilots, but I don't think they are from here.

Now ... I LIKE this!

I think it must be an homage or nod to that tune.  It's not as if they're trying to deceive anyone - most people who listen to popular music probably know that song..

So sadly different from In Like the Rose... feels like they lost their edge and got all hippie

seriously
This band does not enrage me, that is all.
I keep hearing "I'm not your stepping stone".

Oh yes..I can trace mine back to 1066

Got tickets to see them in April. . . I am SOOOOO looking forward to the gig and going somewhat bonkers.

/smug
like the beginning and the words. good stuff.  lets get rid of the war. what do you think.
I'd know that BRMC sound anywhere....
...they're named after the bike gang in an old marlon brando film... BRMC vs. BOC: FIGHT!!!

*meh* :eh:
ROCK ON! This makes me happy. :) :cowboy: this song is so boot stompin' good.
Saying the name of this rocking band gets me weird looks over here... But the music plain kicks some rear!

BRMC isn't a promising band, they've been around for quite some time and have proven long time ago that they kick your arse. Their new soundimage is pretty different compared to earlier, and the new album "Howl" isn't comparable the extremely superb " Take Them On, On Your Own" from 2001. "Shuffle your feet" is undoubtedly the best song from Howl..
I don't care how long they've been around, 2001 is the first I heard of them (their debut album). I don't consider that a long time, but maybe "promising" wasn't the right word choice. ...Cheers
I like the folksie sound of this album.
Sobient - "Take Them On..." is from 2003, I believe. And yes, it's much better than their latest album, "Howl", in my opinion.
mamas and papas guitars?

A great lyrical and musical mix of spiritual/gospel, blues, and bluegrass. All mistakes in musical styles may have been intentional.
BRMC is a promising band.
Rocking out :guitarist: :drummer: :motor:

Still deciding about this new BRMC...
...deciding that I like it.
Yep. Good body rockin' foot stompin' stuff these folks put together.
Somehow this song doesn't do it for me, either. I'm in the camp of those who prefer the darker side of BRMC.
ai-ai-ai-ai-uh huh-definitely love it.
I dunno about this new sound. I really liked the dense sound they had before .... *shrug*
YES PLEASE! love that twang. i can imagine clapping along to this in a smoky room.
Still deciding about this new BRMC...
I just discovered this album through RP and it is phenomenal!
"I..ai..ai..ai..i'm not your stepping stone..."
Excellent!! Love their new sound.
...Reminiscent of Love & Rockets.
Very catchy...I'm liking it. Want to hear other tracks off the album.
Seems like there's suddenly been a lot of BRMC on RP lately. If I were Bill's teacher, this week would have a "keep up the good work" sticker on it.
schweet. i'm crackin' an ice cold one for this!
