The Killers are awesome, every song sounds like a different subplot from the early 80s. Jenny (was a friend of mine) is my favourite - always a little unnerving when it's first track, first album... all downhill from there :-)  This album starts with 7 or 8 of the finest songs I have heard in the last 5 years. Great!

The Cure? Coldplay? I'm sorry, I just don't see the relation here people. Coldplay sounds NOTHING like the Killers. Nor do the Killers sound like them. The Cure, I'll give you that; but come on, tons of bands sound similar, is that so bad? I agree to some extent, not much new here. But at least it kicks harder than some of the recyclables coming out recently.
