reminds me of some hard changes I was going through in the mid 90's and part of an album I listened to extensively. On that nostalgia note its a 6 but if I was hearing this for the first time today I would probably give it a 2 or 3.

It reminds me of that Pop-Beethoven/Pop-Bach junk that came out in the 90's. (Or was it the 80's?) Sometimes music of that sort (folk+new age or classical+rock, etc.) comes out fine, sometimes not. On this piece, I would agree with you Huebdoo.

A lot of y'alls comments are valid, but have you ever stood in a real rain forest, and listened to deep forest (or some other organic nature/techno group...)? It actually works...I've tried it.

I am down with Folk music (especially Eastern European & Celtic folk music) I find it beautiful but Honestly this techno folk - ambient stuff reminds me of that french group that everyone listend too about ten years ago No thanks

Imagine my delight, while listening to Radio Paradise, and on comes Marta Sebestyen. Yummy. But then, I have a history with Hungarian music and Marta in particular, but this strikes just the right note for me. Sorry everyone else seems to hate it so much... :(

I get a bit disapointed because I hear the beginning of something from "The Pillow Book". This is good, but not as good as the music from that film.

You know, these trance acts are all about "organic", "tribal" and "back to nature", but their music is anything but natural or organic. Preprogrammed dreck that any idiot with a Mac and Garage Band can churn out at the click of a mouse button.

I think I read somewhere that both these groups (and others too), sampled from the same bunch of pygmies that have a unique vocal tradition. Deep Forest has also used indigenous African voices as well so I'm not sure which this is.
