Seriously, I kept hearing "I was smoking with the ghost" until I put my papers down and glanced at the moniter.
Smoking with the Popes?

Missing Persons -- Walking in LA Nobody walks in LA...
Nobody walks with a ghost... cute.
Meh.
super simple song, but GREAT nevertheless!!!! THANKS!
Saw them last night (Bumbershoot music festival in Seattle) and was impressed, particularly given their almost freakishly youthful appearance. They had a lousy mix (blame the sound guy) but they play competently and hit those harmonies. Handled the crowd well too.
Why are all the good new groups coming out of Canada?? Maybe because they haven't been burdened with the endless hip-hop of American culture? Arcade Fire...now Tegan and Sara....love the vocals...caught my attention right away and now downloading from iTunes. Thanks Bill.
Hmmm... My first thought was that there was some early Sam Phillips that I had missed. Definitely has that 80's vibe, which is OK by me.

Oh yeah! I was about to post a comment about this sounding like Dale Bozzio! :highfive:
Ugh. Mute.

At first, I thought this was a joke RP tune. Then I decided they were Disney characters, or at the very least, cartoon voice-over kids. They don't sound old enough to have a clue about what it means to be "going out of minds". Just a little too weird for me...
you gotta admit, they do have quite a distinctive sound. i only know them because of listening to RP, but whenever one of their tunes comes on I know it's Tegan and Sara.

"I am walking with a goat"? Ok... Cool tune, I like.
Great Song!!
Local girls done good! They put on a great live show, too.
Tegan and Sara Quin (One "n") may just write the catchiest songs around. Other songs of theirs that I like: "Speak Slow" and "You Wouldn't Like Me" (From "So Jealous") "All You Got" (From "This Business of Art") "Want To Be Bad" and "I Hear Noises" (From "If It Was You") Great to hear them on RP!

The voice must have some kind of effect in it.
it sounds like it, but i think it's just the bizarrely close harmony of twin sisters.
that's so creepy. i was listening to this song three times in a row before i got bored and turned on rp. brief silence -- and it starts. i thought my itunes was confused. dude.
Despite myself, this is kinda catchy.
This is one of the few songs I've been noticing lately that sound like crap when played on my local 'alternative' station, and I always turn the station when they come on, but when I hear them here they sound good. Maybe it's the headphones vs. staticy FM transmission, or am I just becomeing an elitist... (Snow Patrol's "Run" is the other song that immediately pops to mind in this category)
