You gotta check out Aimee on my new favourite show, IFC's "Portlandia." In season 1 they feature her on one of the episodes (hilarious). It's saterizations of hipster sensibilities, as well as the city of Portland, OR, are spot-on.

She's too articulate and way too talented to be called 'whiney' or for that matter, even lumped in with other female contemporaries. Listen to any of her recent albums start to finish and I defy you to not be amongst the converted. That is all. Over. psycholynx wrote:
