One of my favourite college bands during the early 90s. Saw them live several times when they came to San Francisco. Much prefer their Ferment album but this one is not bad too.

CW is right up there with the most fortunate introductions that I have had from being a member of the RP community. Thanks to all and in particular B & R. Without RP, I doubt I'd ever have had the good fortune of hearing this sort of talent.
So this is not the main track for the Jason Statham movie of a few years ago, same title? Sex at the racetrack. Electrocution. A lot of crude body bashing, gunfire and blood. You know, happy shit.
one of my favorite songs from the 90s
This is the song that launched my strong affinity for Catherine Wheel and Rob Dickinson. It still holds up well and gives me a charge, especially when I haven't heard it in a while. CW was a heck of a band with a great catalog of albums that most people will sadly never hear. If in doubt, pick up "Adam & Eve," CW's masterpiece, and one of the best rock albums of the '90s.
Always liked this guys voice, very floydish sound...I think his brother is the singer for Judas Priest..totally different

"Judy Staring At The Sun" is the best Catherine Wheel track I've heard, and it was made better because of Tanya's voice.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by Rob's solo album. It was much better than I expected, stronger overall than the final CW album. Luckily I saw CW two times toward the end of their run, but I missed Rob's solo show earlier this year.

Really good stuff. Catherine Wheel is very distincitve. FERMENT is a solid album. I think it captures them at their best.
