don't know what to say about this thing ? its a kind of coolness i don't like ! the voice is ok - but it fails to reach my heart ! mr. david chapman should better be killing these guys instead of killing mr. john lennon !
look, i'm no kill joy but that's not very funny or nice
A lively, interesting band cursed with a lead singer whose voice simply just isn't strong enough...
I rather like this. A solid 7. No excuses, I just like it and that is that.

Probably he couldn't "imagine"

This tune makes sense when you live in a three bed semi detached in Bath......... Purfect sense...... Like the smiths with less desire to kill yourself....

I like it!
Lightning Seeds fun fact: they got their name after misinterpreting the lyrics to Prince's "Raspberry Beret". They heard "the thunder drowns out what the lightning sees" as the lightning seeds.

Nice but not New Order if you know what I mean mate...
I hear that. It prompted me to request a couple of NO though, so at least it performed some useful function.
Yeah, I thought "A Small Slice of Heave" was so appropriate. I think it's more than just a small slice of heave - more like a whole toilet full.

A great early song by an amazing band. Currently reformed and touring the UK. M

The Innocence Mission, Love Spit Love and the Lightning Seeds. Excellent line up. I could stay on this vein all day.
Please, no more artist bios. We can all click on the link to Artist Info through All Music Guide (AMG) just above the song comments. Mari wrote:

Bit of a british invasion tonite. Nice tunes, overall.

I can't believe they also made "Footballs coming home."
The Seeds are much sweeter than most music I like, but I can't deny that Ian Broudie's voice wins me over every time! :) Plus, I just love that this is the same guy who produced the classic Bunnymen albums...
Delicious!
9/10, what an excellent tune!

hey, this is a nice song, why are there no comments yet? lots of guitar jingling.
I'll comment. I really like the Lightning Seeds. I ordered this album from the local Borders back in 1998 before I had internet access and I was still a student. It's good, but be sure to check out Dizzy Heights and Jollification.

Pretty.
