I think Bill has the hots for Aimee
Nope, its K T Tunstall. as much as he plays her Drastic Fantastic, thats gotta be who he has a crush on.
This is a rocking live tune. Nice trio of live tracks, Bill!

Just goes to show what good taste he has. :)
Every time I hear this song, I think she's talking about "mushroom space." ??
I continue to love you Amy. I got 4 strings you can pluck anytime.
Sounds seriously like Janis Joplin in her quieter moments.
I like the song well enough...she just has an annoying nasal quality to her voice that gets on my nerves a bit (like she has permanent congestion).

i agree. more importantly, if a fight broke out, who would win: dog or pony?

. . . and I don't think this song is overplayed at all!
well, it is played quite a bit...and that's a good thing because it's starting to grow on me!

Now THERE'S a link I'd never have thought of ... deeply and all that I like both Aimee and Nusrat, I would never have made that connection. Nice to hear her rockin' out
He he... there really WASN'T a connection there. I just really like Aimee. And I really like Nusrat... and I really like Jeff Buckley. Buckley does this whole Nusrat thing on the Live @ Sin'e disc, including this KILLER cover... vocals and all... during the intro, he talks about how Nusrat is his Elvis. Hence my comment that Aimee is my Nusrat ;-) By extension... Aimee is my Elvis (who I'm not really that much of a fan of).
Pretty inocuous. Nothing special.
I really like her albums and this track from her live DVD... but watching the DVD itself?

Poke around on this website, it's a great resource- The Magnolia CD is fantastic. So is Lost in Space.
Agreed. I'd definitely start with the "Magnolia" sountrack. One of the best albums to put on if you're feeling down.
Aimee Man is o.k. ....a little too much in the playlist for my taste...

Aimee is awesome overall, but her live stuff from this CD does indeed sound like she's going through the motions... The girl needs a studio, I guess...
Nice electric guitar, but Aimee's wafer-thin and soul-free vocal ruins it.
Wow. Kinda Byrdsy. Not bad.
Rock on Aimee!
I love this.
This girl is just plain awful solo, soooooo booorrring!

I'm sorry, and I've tried, but I just don't like Aimee Mann. Her music is forgettable at best, and the last poster was correct- she might as well be Chrissie Hynde. Whats the point? I give it a 3.
Heretics! Blaspheamers! Get thee behind me!
